Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Good choice. - 2001 Toyota Sienna

This is a well made van. Of course it is the only van we have owned. It is basically a Camry.

  • Love it! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

This is our first minivan. We fell in love with the Sienna the first time we drove it. I originally thought the shifter on the dash was wierd and didnt like it, but have found that I do like it and Ive changed my description of it from "wierd" to "quirky." I think it adds to the character of the vehicle. Character which I dont think the Odyssey has. Ive seen the word spartan used to describe the Honda van, and couldnt agree more. The Siennas creature comforts far outdo the Odysseys and outclassed every other van we drove. After 2 weeks and around a thousand miles, we are very pleased that we purchased the Sienna.

  • Bad, Bad A/C - 2009 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I purchased a new van so that my wife and kids would not have to deal with all the aches associated with an old car. We live in So Cal where the summer temps go over 100 deg. The A/C on the van has stopped blowing cold air on 5 separate occasions. This happens either when stopped or driving so its not even a consistent problem. We take it to the dealer and they say they cant find anything wrong with it. I had previously purchased a Camry with NO problems. Thinking Toyota was more reliable I purchased this car for my wife and it was a BAD mistake. Next time I will go with a Honda for the family van.

  • A great value for such a luxurious ride - 2008 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Ive had my 08 LE 8-passenger for 1.5 months now. Im almost done with the first 1K mile break-in (currently ~ 900 miles) and so far the experience is great. The van drives like a luxurious car, so roomy and comfortable that my toddler keeps asking to get on the van. We got our LE with option 1. We have driven over the mountain (from SJ to Santa Cruz, CA) a few times and the van has enough power to climb up with ease. On the highway, we were surprised that its so smooth and quiet. Combining hwy and city driving, we have averaged ~ 22 mpg over 900-mile.

  • 2009 Sienna AWD - Traded in 07 Odyssey - 2009 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Just traded in our 07 Odyssey EXL-RES after 1 years use for the AWD option on the Sienna. We have approx. 500 miles on the Sienna. Over all the Sienna instrumentation/controls are much more intuitive, hated the Ody instr. Ody felt big and bulky but did give a very comfortable ride. Siennas ride is a bit stiffer but much more responsive, gives the driver a better feel of control and is quite comfortable. Very good visibility. Heat on our Sienna is very poor in cold weather (>32F) and never seems to get comfortable in cold. We do all short hop drives and expected poor mileage but our 14 MPG is a bit ridiculous. Hope this will change after the break-in. Would not go back to the Odyssey.

  • We love our Sienna CE - 2002 Toyota Sienna
    By -

After having our van for over 1 year we love it. Weve gone on long trips with 5 people and it has been very comfortable. We love the way it looks! I drive about 50 to 100 miles a day for my job and I love the handling, cd player, radio. There is plenty of room for my toys (I do therapy with kids in their homes). We have regular maintenance done and we have had no problems. We bought the van for Toyota quality and hope to keep it for a long time.

My Sienna does things I did not know vehicles did. I could not ask for anything more.

  • Toyota Grossinger - 2011 Toyota Sienna

Not only is my car an amazing fit for my family and I, but its performance is great as well. Also, when driving long distances with children its great to be comfortable which we definitely are. I I am most grateful to the sale person at Toyota Grossing, Sargon C, without whom I wouldnt have been able to pick the best fit for us. He made my experience wonderful and easy. There were no complications and it was the best customer service I have received.

  • Wonderful van - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Now have 83,000 miles on my Sienna. It Has the best turning radius, comfort, handling and quiet cabin of any car Ive owned. My friends all love it for its comfort, even in the back seat and its ride over curvy roads. It has enormous capacity. In 83,000 miles Ive paid for one AC relay and normal maintainance and upkeep. Im on the original set of brakes and they still have half their life. I feel very safe in this car.
