Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

Even allowing for the "new car euphoria" the Sienna just performs well in almost all respects. My wife is very impressed, and to her a car is usually just a car. Great ride, lots of nice features, and the gas mileage is acceptable for a vehicle this size and weight.

  • Wish I would have kept my caravan - 2009 Toyota Sienna

I traded my 2005 Grand Caravan in on the 2009 Toyota sienna because everyone told me they have the best quality (WRONG). Its been in the shop more than I have owned it with motor and trans issues and the elusive noise they cant seem to find. Give me back my grand caravan.

  • Great Car - 2000 Toyota Sienna

I absolutely love this car. I was hesitant when looking because I had never had a van before and when I did my first test drive I called it a bus. Now that we have owned it for a few years, I really really like it and all the features. A TV in the ceiling is helpful for traveling distances with kids. We dont use it runing around town and it isnt noticeable when not in use. The remote headphones allow you to listen to radio in front while TV is on in back.

We traded in our 2001 Pathfinder for the 04 Sienna XLE after finding one with the option package we wanted -- leather seats with side curtain airbags in the back -- and couldnt be more pleased. The pickup and ride is excellent and compares well to the 240hp Pathfinder, the interior and exterior design are excellent and the size is HUGE. It has made moving from "cool" to "minivan" easier!

  • Not a minivan gal till now - 2006 Toyota Sienna

I have the Sienna LE AWD. My mileage is not the best compared to the LE, but I also take my van places most dont attempt. Having AWD I feel much more comfortable with my sons friends and their moms out in the woods, or in the snow, or on sand!! Its smooth, fun and safe to drive. I was disappointed with the fact that there was not any bargaining room with the cost - I was told that only the LE, I could have bargained with. I went from driving small cars to now a vehicle I swore Id never drive (minivan). I love it, and my son really does. And gosh - hes now extremely safe. Thank you Toyota.

  • Just bought my 2013 toyota sienna 1 week ago. - 2013 Toyota Sienna

Seems to be a good reliable vehicle at this point. Have driven it a bout 300 miles so far. Have noticed no problems other than no satellite radio and not near as good stereo as what was in our 07 Saturn Outlook which had satellite radio from the factory. This is the first Toyota I have ever owned so it takes some getting used to. I have always been a GM fan. I guess only time will tell.

  • Less than what I expected - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Weve had the recalls with the radiator, seat belt and door. Fine. But the radiator KEEPS leaking and they havent been able to fix it in 4 trips to the dealer. We have just over 40K miles on it now and have had the tires replaced and brakes at 15k! We are pleased with the utilitarian aspects. (After all, that is the reason we buy these things right?) We just wish that the radiator thing and the brake thing wasnt there to fix.

  • Great ride! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I had owned a top of the line Grand Caravan with little or no problems. But when it was time to replace it so many people said to look at the Sienna before buying another minivan. What a pleasant surprise! I had been used to the luxury of the Grand Caravan EX and wanted no less in my new vehicle. The amenities in the Sienna surpass what I had in the Grand Caravan. (both had leather interiors) The ride and handling of the Sienna is far superior. The absolute selling feature was the windows that went down on the side sliding doors and the huge sunroof.

  • Love the 8 Passenger Seating - 2005 Toyota Sienna

We love our Sienna. It is a great ride. The 3 seats on the second row are a plus when you have the need for more passengers. And with anchors on each seat across the second row you cant go wrong. Love all the storage and smooth ride. The DVD is great for the trips. We researched vans a long time and am very happy with our purchase.

  • Toyota Quality a REAL problem! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Of course all cars have various problems but the run flat tires on this AWD minivan is beyond horrible. Since purchasing new 6 years ago and with only 55k miles, I have replaced all my tires FOUR times at 200+ each not to mention the additional fees involved in disposing and balancing (thats a staggering $3,600+) Toyota service tech would just say,"yeah, theyre not that good". Then the other night I simply go to roll down my driver side window for some fresh air,the window collapses for no reason into the door. I bring the car to Toyota, $600+ because of a defective cable.Technical says "these things happen, sorry". Not SORRY enough to stand behind your product!
