Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Best Minivan even over 2005 Honda Odysse - 2004 Toyota Sienna

This minivan rides exceptionally smooth and has horsepower beyond belief. My wife that said she would never be caught dead in a minivan says now that she wouldnt trade it for the world. The van feels like something out of the Lexus line as far as quietness & structure. Everything in this van was carefully thought out from the armrest storage bins to the engine. I personally have not driven a car of this quality ever, and Ive drive a lot of cars. Quick, quiet, and impressive.

After two windstars which I was happy with I decided to buy this Toyota after driving all the others first. This is better then the 2010 Honda but nothing wrong with any of them. The difference from the windstar is night and day. Hwy mileage so far is as advertised 24 mpg. At 75 miles per hour. The only thing I dont care for so far is the back up camera/screen, its way too small. Other than that I simply love this van and so does my wife who is a Honda fan.

Simply the best in every category and as insurance tests have shown, also the safest.

This is our first Toyota and we like it very much. It has a sold, well built feel and is very comfortable. The kids love the DVD player too. We did have a CV joint go bad at 6,000 miles which was disappointing. Still, overall, we have been satisfied.

  • My Toyota Concerns - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Salespeople quite unfriendly & only concerned with making a sale & profit. Vehicle in general is very nice but transmission down shifts somewhat too often. I received a recall to replace the fuel tank and ended up with two trips and two rental cars before fixed properly. Tank was leaking fuel AFTER the first replacement & had to return.

This vehicle replace our 2000 Honda Oddssey. Glad we made the switch this vehicle has it all and is by far the best choice of all the mini-vans on the market today. Toyota is moving in the right direction so long Honda and everybody else.

I love this van. Several years ago I had a different van--pontiac and I cant even compare the two. The ride in this van is superior! The room is great, you certainly dont feel confined @all. This van is fun to drive, has a great look, is quiet inside, etc. I could talk for days about why I love the sienna and that is big coming from someone who never realy liked minivans at all. I researched this new vehicle and felt this was the best deal for me and I am ecstatic!!!

  • Happy but... - 2012 Toyota Sienna

Leased the 2012 LE in December. Owned a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT prior. Some things we love about the Sienna: smooth ride, maneuvers well for a big van, comfortable seating, removable 8th seat, heat/cooling system terrific, reverse camera in dash, blueray & sound system work great with my iphone. Disappointments - a bit of a swimmer in handling on the highway and havent averaged better than 14.4 mpg in the 6 months weve had it - even in highway drives. Not sure what gives with that, because others have reported over 23. Can two of the same vehicles really vary that much???!!! Im going to ask about this at the 5K service.
