Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Build Quality questionable - 2006 Toyota Sienna

Decent vehicle as far as Minivans are concerned. But build quality is in question. Minor rattles (Dealer said it was normal). My sliding door motor crapped out after 6 months. Then when it was replaced I can hear it straining to close now. In 2008 I drove my cousins Odyssey for a month and was very very impressed with it. It looked better inside, seemed to have functionality that suited my needs and definitely handled better. My husband actually enjoyed driving a van (he didnt like driving the Sienna) Ill be switching over to the Odyssey if I ever buy a Van again. I wont be buying any more Toyota due to the accelerator issue fiasco. Im afraid the same issue will hit Siennas.

  • Bad engines - 2000 Toyota Sienna

Beware of this car. Toyota admits a oil sludge issue, although they blame the owners. Search google for more info, Toyota Sludge. Toyota claims they are fixing the affected cars at no charge but this is an out right lie.

Good reliable, family vehicle. Very easy to get small children in and out of. Rides very comfortably but has some extra noise values.

  • Great Vehicle, Good Price, Poor Stereo - 2006 Toyota Sienna

I purchased my 2006 Sienna six months ago and Im very impressed with the vehicle. It has a very nice interior with and 8 full size seats. The only minivan with three full size seats in the second row. The center second row adjustable seat is great for infants in car seats. The trunk can adequately handle the luggage for eight passengers. The engine is powerful and smooth. The stereo system sounds very basic and inadequate for such and excellent vehicle. The ride is quite and smooth.

  • Great Car, but... - 2010 Toyota Sienna

Have put about 700 miles on my new 2010 Sienna. Traded in a 02 Odyssey. The car is very quiet, good handling, great controls, smooth drive. Got the stereo JBL option - great sound (kids love it, too). Much quieter than the Odyssey and its the AWD is a great seller.

  • I love it! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I love the car. Im new to the minivan era and swore I would never get one. Have been an SUV person but was sick of the gas problem and rollover warnings. Love the sleek dash board. Love the steering wheel radio controls. Smooth ride! Although it doesnt take corners like my Jeep. I have already scratched the van trying the park! BUT I FEEL SAFE w/my precious cargo! KIDS LOVE IT!!

  • Excellent Minivan - 2005 Toyota Sienna

This is a fantastic vehicle. The AWD has already saved us in the snow here. The kids love the seats and the space (we havent fired up the DVD yet). We love the stereo and other convenience features. The controls are mostly intuitive, although a few require some trips to the maual. The seats are very comfortable and very adjustable and the leather is luxurious. Handling is unexciting but acurate, competent, and forgiving.

  • Toyota may have saved our lives! - 2005 Toyota Sienna

Loved our 2005 Toyota from the beginning, but even more so after a side impact crash. We dont have side airbags. We were hit by a pickup truck going 30mph. Hit was mainly to sliding passenger door. This vehicle held together like you wouldnt believe! There were 2 of us in the front seats, but we only received seatbelt bruises.

  • The Best!!! - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We are comparing the Sienna to the 02 Honda Odyssey EX-L which we traded in. The Sienna handles like the Ody, but the ride is more comfortable and the interior is much more quiet. Acceleration, braking and steering between the Sienna and Ody are very comparable, but the AWD and vehicle skid control on the Sienna makes this vehicle a champ on slick roads. We find the seats to be more comfortable in the Sienna than the Ody. The Sienna offers many more features that the more spartan Ody. The build quality on the Sienna is superb! We expect the reliability of the Sienna to be top- notch!

  • Great Car - 2002 Toyota Sienna

Drove this car for 8 years and enjoyed driving it daily. Had an accident two weeks ago (rear ended) that should have injured everyone in the car, but it held up and we all walked away. GREAT CAR!
