Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

As a mom of three I do not have the luxury of owning my dream "car" anymore, I had to settle for a dream minivan, and this one is it!!

  • Nice family van! - 2006 Toyota Sienna

I drove the Toyota Sienna everywhere! Its a wonderful minivan for errands, trips, hauling people and passengers. The seats are extremely comfortable. I really like the quad to bench seat style, I think thats pretty cool but you have to unhook the seat and haul it over to the next jack. Honda and Mazda make it easier, you just slide them back and forth. The power stowing 60/40 split bench is awesome and helpful. The power sliding doors open pretty fast. Also the power liftgate is pretty cool and helpful. The van is great for everyday needs. It climbs up hills pretty well. There is a lot of little storage areas but theyre pretty small. I also like the built in pull up window shades.

  • We love our Sienna! - 2000 Toyota Sienna

My husband and I did alot of research on mini-vans before we chose the Sienna. We have not regretted our choice for a minute! We made our choice based mainly on the reliability and safety features of the Sienna, but since we spend alot of time in this vehicle the smoothness of the ride was the deciding factor. We have had no problems with our Sienna, except for a CD player that skipped. It was promptly replaced by the dealer without question. When we get our next van the question wont be which van to get, but what year model!

Purchased a 2006 CE 7 passanger Sienna new. The vehicle now has 160,000 kms. The vehicle had some early issues. The air bag light came on and took 2 years to resolve. Had to fight Toyota and dealer all the way. Finally replaced main wiring harness. Also had to replace drivers door (yes the whole door) due to broken hinges. All covered by Toyota. Other than that the vehicle has been good. It has plenty of power and is comfortable on long trips. My van is a box stock CE. From what I hear people with the fancy ones have more problems.

  • Great van! - 2015 Toyota Sienna

We needed a rental vehicle and ended up with a 2015 Sienna because it was the least expensive. We didnt need a mini van at all. We were actually extremely surprised at how quiet it was. There was no road noise, even through all of the course highways in California. Usually its so loud with every vehicle weve rented due to the course highways but this van was impressively quiet. Im very picky with road noise, Id say this was Lexus quiet. The ride wasnt firm or too soft, it was perfect actually. Very, very impressed. Even the little holding area where you can put a grocery bag under the radio area is perfect, and the area where you can put your drink holder which has some rubber so your stuff doesnt slide around. Overall Toyota did a great job. If I am ever in the need of a van, Id definitely go for the Toyota!

  • The Best Mini Van in the Market - 2006 Toyota Sienna

No other Van in the market can beat the performance and the features this van has got. More comfort and standard items than a Honda. Great van for a family. Kids use their Xbox and wireless headphones gives real peace for us.

After one month and 1300 miles Im still very impressed with this vehicle. I had a Chrysler Town & Country Touring and the Sienna is so far above that it is unbelievable. The quietness is the first thing I noticed. The wide screen DVD system keeps the kids quiet too. I was so happy to find wireless headsets for that! Some have written about cheap plastic in the interior but I dont find it offensive. Different but not awful. Performance has been great.

Cant say enough good things about this vehicle. Never thought Id drive a minivan, but Ill never drive anything else. Comfortable, tons of space, and has some major get up and go.

  • This is my wifes car - 2006 Toyota Sienna
    By -

This is the first new car I have ever purchased, so compared to everything I have ever owned in the past, this is a dream. It has nice styling, LOTS of interior room, second row windows that roll down, LOTS of cupholders, and the "front and center" middle seat in the second row. Handling is superb, but the engine seems underpowered at times. Gas mileage is within the EPA estimates. Drivers seat is comfortable, even without the power controls. It seems that Toyota is very concerned with having the best minivan around, and they have gone out of their way to add little details that will appeal to the type of people to will drive their vehicles.
