Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • NOT buying Black Interior in Texas Heat - 2016 Toyota Sienna

This is a great car and I was ready to buy a Red SE -- until I found out that the Red exterior color in the SE only came with a black interior. Now Im not buying this year; hope Toyota provides a tan or light gray option with Red SE next year.

AC/heating unit a little bit week – take almost five minutes to cool down in the summer, and heating up in the winter time.

  • So Far So Good! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Purchased our van in April and have 3400 miles on it so far. Everything seems to be working well. Ride is smooth I think it is better then the Subaru Outback that we traded in. It has more of a car like feel to it then the Honda van. Gas mileage is not bad for such a large vehicle....not sure you can find a SUV with better gas mileage. Does well in the mountain region...climbs large hills and turns tight curves very well for me! Capacity for us is great! It carries two infant car seats, one dog and two adults very comfortably. If your over 6 foot you may not like the back row for leg room. I highly recommend this van if you need more room!

Acceleration is a bit sluggish compared to other minivans and cars. Gas mileage at this time is lower then expected but we still have under 1000 miles on it so it is not broken in yet. Winter driving in city condition is getting about 16.5 mpg

  • good buy - 2003 Toyota Sienna

today is 2nd anniversary of our 03 sienna. I never imagined to be really competing with my wife to drive this..Just plain good ride. Quiet, smooth ride. Feels powerful, good gas milege. The only problem with it is had a squeaking power stearing gear had to replace power steering pump under warranty. No fatigue on a few trip from St. Paul to Chicago. My 3 yr old prefers this car over my 1999 altima whenver we got out and ask her choice..

  • After BMWs & Saabs, I didnt expect to love this van - 2006 Toyota Sienna

I love driving. Always have. When, professionally my hauling needs exceeded the Saab and BMW wagons Ive had, I hunted for a van. Ultimately, the combo of power folding mirrors, gated shifting, sunroof and no run-flats was what sold me. Not passion. I just needed those things to be content. I found a CPO 40,000 mile XLE that had been well taken care of. Then I added a Diamond Certified Toyota warranty when I found out they were pretty cheap. It was a total surprise to realize this rig is a great driver. You have to shift it manually to really use the transmission best, both for accelleration and braking but carving HWY 1 in rural Marin County is a blast. at 125k now, its still super.

  • Toyota Dependability in Question - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I am having a terrible experience with my vehicle. It is a 2004 Toyota Sienna and it currently has just over 90,000 miles on it. Even though I have had my vehicle serviced on a regular basis I was shocked when the compressor shut down on my way for service. I was in the middle of a six lane highway! When the compressor shut down it caused some metal to get into the engine system. My repair bill is going to be an estimated $3500.00. I have told the Toyota Customer Service Center my story and they have only offered to pay for the compressor parts and nothing else! I am very disappointed in Toyotas and the dealerships response for assistance in this unusual repair situation.

  • Its a minivan - 2008 Toyota Sienna

We have owned our sienna for 18 months. Trading it in a few days for a Benz. The gas mileage is absolutely horrible. We average 15.9 on a trip. Ridiculous! Rather uninspiring handling. Acceleration seems doggy. Faux wood trim doesnt belong in a $41k minivan. Putting down the 3rd row seats is inconvenient. Save some money and buy a town and country.

    best minivan out there

  • On our 2nd Sienna - 2012 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We LOVE this van. Just got our 2nd one not to long ago. Our only real complaints are: - road noise on the highway is AWFUL - almost sounds like you have a window open - this was mentioned in consumer reports - no arm rest on both sides of the captains chairs Other than these two things this van is great on long roadtrips and just around town. You cant go wrong with it and our 2011 held its value so much we were able to get a 2012 at lower payment cause we had equity in a car.
