Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Great Choice After Lots of Anxiety - 2014 Toyota Sienna

It was difficult deciding among Toyota, Honda and Kia. All have their good points and drive well. I bought the Toyota four weeks ago, and I am happy with the decision, though Id probably be just as happy with the Honda and Kia. I have the blind-spot monitor option ($500) and like it a lot. On the Sienna it is on both side-view mirrors; on the Odyssey, it is only on the passenger side. The long-slide 2nd row seats allow for almost 19" of leg room in the 2nd row, though that would leave almost no leg room for the 3rd row. Both 2nd and 3rd rows have shades. Entune and navigation system are great. Lots of cargo space behind 3rd row. 3rd row seats store easily, but not as easily as Hondas.

  • Excellent family TAXI - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

My Family TAXI. She came in to the family at the same time as my twins... she has held up with the mistreatment of the baby years, the toddler years of abuse going on to the abuse of two little 6 year energizer bunnies that use the van as their alternate toy chest, sleeping bed, fighting ring, fast food table, after the beach resting area, camping house, immagenary treasure hunt cave, space ship and who knows what else... but she keep on running and keeping my two precious gems and my Queen safe and my pockets free of mechanics hand picking. She just askes for regular maintenance and thats it.. exception, a small Power Steering oil leak that I will attend to asap.. plan to have her for at 15 ys

  • 202,000 miles and going strong! - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I would have loved to have given it 10s across the board, but it is a minivan! I bought this van from the original owner just over six years ago with 65,000 miles. He was very meticulous with maintenance as am I, and it has really paid off. In my time of ownership I have just done my second timing belt, a new battery, starter, brakes, tires, struts, and wheel bearings. All a reasonable amount of work for 200k, and all preventative. Nothing has ever actually broke on it! The catalytic converter is starting to go finally, and will be $650 to replace when it does. I will happily pay this, as the van still runs as smooth as the day I bought it!

  • Wow. What a difference. - 2011 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We bought our Sienna as a replacement for our 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Our Honda was a great van, and with a large family (5 kids) it was time to find another mini-van. We looked at the upcoming 2011 Honda Odyssey and felt it was a "step backward" in its design, not very appealing. We liked the way the 2011 Sienna looked and once we test drove it, we knew this was it. At that point it was just a matter of which trim level to buy. Since my wife would only compromise on one color (Blizzard Pearl White), we had to buy the Limited FWD. What Mommy wants, Mommy gets. And I have to keep Mommy happy. If you do the research, you can save A LOT of cash on a purchase. Do your homework!

  • best on the market - 2004 Toyota Sienna

The van is absolutely the best I have ever driven. The room is about the best you can imagine.Needed the aligngment adjusted a little but as of now no other mechanical problems.Does feel big,but handling and power is very good.EVEN PAYING STICKER IS A GREAT PRICE FOR THIS VAN . Basic Le model more than does the job after that i think it gets pricey. GOOD LUCK!

  • One Hell Of A Van - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Compared to he rest of the vans on the Market, Toyota has made one solid package. The split 60/40 fold flat bench adds alot of versatility to the cargo configuration. The ample amount of cup holders and power outlets make the help make the comfort factor for all passengers very pleasant and the ride is one of the best, responsive and tight (youll love the vans turning radius).

  • We love our Sienna - 2004 Toyota Sienna

We are a family of 6. The kids are twins 11, girl 12, girl 13. We juggle basketball and baton corp, school and various club activities. It is spacious and versatile. It doesnt feel like a minivan. The gearshift is oddly places but you become accustomed to it very quickly. It is easy to manuever and fun.

  • Well-Pleased - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I researched long and hard to choose a mini-van. The Sienna was at the top of my list and I am not disappointed with it. It is very smooth, the quality of workmanship is great, the gas mileage is good (22-26 mpg), and this car is very roomy inside. The rear seats stow away easily; when 2nd row is removed the interior is cavernous.

  • 2014 Sienna XLE w/o Nav/Entune - 2014 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I purposely looked for a "base" XLE without Navigation/Entune or rear entertainment (DVD) to get the more comfortable leather seats (front only, rear softex) and minimize options which would be expensive to repair after warranty. This is my second Sienna, with a 2011 Odyssey purchased in between. Ive read comments about the Odyssey being a better van, BUT my 2011 Touring ended up having transmission and engine issues, and it was an expensive vehicle. The Sienna has a great engine/trans combo, and the interior is very comfortable and spacious.
