Overview & Reviews
Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.
In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

Great Buy - 2006 Toyota Sienna
By Jeffrey Groves - December 24 - 4:40 amI never thought I would own a mini van. But having a sedan with 2 kids just wasnt working out. The sienna offers so much room for the kids. It drives a lot better than I thought. My wife loves it. I like the fact of how safe I feel with her driving her and the kids around. I test drove a lot of mini vans and this by far was the best. I got the lower end model and it has everything you need and more.

Stuck in the snow, even 2 inches of it - 2006 Toyota Sienna
By familyof7 - December 24 - 1:33 amThe Sienna was new when we bought it, and it has all the major options, which means we paid top dollar. We love the navigation, entertainment and other conveniences that make traveling with our kids easier. The kids ride in car seats though, which could explain their comfort. We recently took our first long-haul trip and had the aching backs to prove it. Never again! We had intended to keep the Sienna for perhaps a decade, which is why we went for all the options and didnt mind the price so much. After all, Toyotas have a reputation for lasting. We are getting rid of it, however, because it handles terribly in the snow. The Sienna literally gets stuck in two inches of snow. What a nightmare!

Better than thought! - 2006 Toyota Sienna
By m.sum - December 21 - 8:16 pmOur family grew and we needed all 8 seats. We owned a 98 Sienna and loved it so when Toyota came out with a 8 seater it was a no brainer for us. It is quieter, smoother and has everything a large family needs as well as being economical to drive. Would tell anyone who is considering to buy the Sienna it is fun to drive and doesnt feel like a minivan but like you are driving a sedan. We looked at all the competition and test drove them all and there is no comparision with Toyota quality. Buy and enjoy.

Toyota Sienna - 2001 Toyota Sienna
By chunter67 - December 18 - 10:00 amBought the van in 02 to replace a 91 Pathfinder. Has proven to be very comfortable on long trips with to small kids. Gas mileage is what you would expect for a 6 cyl. Have kept it serviced every 5000 miles at the dealer. Had initial problem with the power sliding doors not working. Right at 36000 and the rear seat will not pull out. Only taken it out 3-4 times. Dealership had to order part. Also, the passenger power window doesnt go down all the time. Overall, wished I could have afforded the Odessey, but this has been ok. Wife likes it for taking the kids around town. Dont get the optional center console; waste of space and no space.

Good All Around Buy! - 2006 Toyota Sienna
By Judy - December 10 - 7:13 pmLove it!! Only problems I have is where the gas latch is located, I have to open the door to pull it open. Also there is no key hole for the back door, you must have a keyless key chain so using duplicate keys are worthless. I wish the other doors were automatic like on the xle I believe I would get that style next just for that feature alone. When your hands are full, just push the button and it opens up. The rear door is very heavy to close.

Great Car - 2001 Toyota Sienna
By John Wallace - December 10 - 8:00 amNever thought I would be writing accolades for a minivan, but here I am, doing just that. Absolutely the best family vehicle you could own for a family of four or more. Very peppy engine, handling is great, mileage is pretty good and the best thing is you can put everything plus the kitchen sink in this vehicle on trips to grandmas. We bought a small tv for the kids to use during trips, no fancy drop down dvd, and it works great with their earphones, for $200 or so.

My Mini-van - 2000 Toyota Sienna
By MermaidCMS - December 9 - 2:00 amI love this car! It is so versitle, pretty on the outside and inside. It is great on long road trips. The seats are easy to remove for hauling things. I have never regretted this purchase and will in all likelyhood get another one day. For a larger vehicle, the mileage is outstanding.

2004 Sienna: The Boss! - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By Mikey Mac - December 9 - 2:00 amWe just bought this beauty yesterday, so first impressions here. This was the first one this dealer had received. We bought the XLE FWD; grey leather interior, sunroof, and other upgrades from the standard XLE; 6-in- dash CD AND cassette player, side running boards. Back seat drops into the floor like Hondas, but the Siennas seat can be stowed 1/3 or 2/3 at a time...snaps snugly into place in two easy steps each direction. Runs smooth down highway and other roads; 5-speed auto tranny works smoothly and the 230 hp gives a nice throaty exhaust note when pushed. Overall, Im totally impressed. We will probably drive this thing for ten years!

disapointed in some aspects of the design - 2011 Toyota Sienna
By tom344 - December 8 - 8:33 pmIt rained last night. The roof was wet. I needed to roll down the drivers side window to see. The water from the roof poured directly into the car. The controls for the power windows got very wet. To make it worse each window control sits on top of a small well that holds the water and assures that it drains into the window control mechanism. The interior side of the front doors seem flimsy. I am tall and my left knee pushes against the protrusion that holds the window controls. I see it flexing each time my left leg moves. I am concerned that the flimsy plastic that makes up the interior door will eventually crack after repeated exposures to my left leg pushing against it.
