Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Good Overall Value for a Family Car - 1999 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We bought this new with a roof rack, cruise, rear AC, and the tow package. We liked it because it drove the most like a car compared to other MVs and for the Toyota reputation. We had a few problems (fuel injectors - fixed on warranty, sticky sliding door button, etc), which werent big issues. During the 130K miles, the only major repairs (on us) were to replace the brakes (including drums/discs) twice and a new timing belt. Other than that, this has been a really good car for us. It has served us well, even with the abuse from 2 little boys. It is roomy and rides great. On several long trips, it got great freeway mileage (25+), even towing a small jet ski trailer.

  • Toyota Sienna 2005 CE FWD Review - 2006 Toyota Sienna

The ride is quiet. The handling is OK. The acceleration is among the best in its class, if not the best. Beats any Honda in the 0-60, even with 25hp less. Downside are the braking system (i have change twice the front brakes in about 20000 miles (about 30000Km here in Canada)), and the Dunlop tires are cheap: be prepare to change them very soon, if you dont want to use your spare tire (happened twice) ! The rest is very solid. I highly recommend this van.

  • The Best minivan Ive ever driven. - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

My husband got this van as a "whole family" present during Christmas. I got to drive the Sienna during Christmas Day while there was barely any traffic and I must say that its ride is smooth and very car-like. (This is my first minivan since our Camry & ES300). Steering is tight and performance is pretty good. Fuel economy suprised us when is was up to 28MPG. Pretty good for a large car. I loved how luxurious the car was. Overall, Its the best minivan Ive ever driven.

Rear mirror covering lots of front windshild for 6 lf. tall guy.Run flat tire went bad after 20000km no help from Toyota or Tyre comp. Really, really annoyed me - cost $400.00/tyre (thank you very much). Back up sensor - great cruse control sensor -fantastic

  • Its not a "minivan", its a SIENNA - 2007 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Just bought my wife her first brand new car, or, I mean "minivan". Drove the 2007 Honda Odyssey EXL-RES and the 2007 Mercury Monterrey. Both are nice vehicles, but neither can match the quality, power, and refinement of the Toyota. The Toyota interior quality is unmatched by the competitors. Remember, its not a minivan!

  • Best Car ever! - 2001 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Original Owners of this 2001 Toyota sienna got it way back in 2001 and just keeps on chugging along. Only one big big project was done on it and that was transmission replacement because the fluid was getting burnt. 99,741 Im expecting to see 100,000 miles within the next 2 weeks!`

  • Will NEVER buy a Toyota again - 2007 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We bought a 2007 Sienna XLE 4WD. We paid market price for it: no discount. The air sensor on the tires leaks air and we get a flat tire...or two...or three, every couple of months. We missed the lemon law by 5 days...we have fought with Toyota and the dealership for months, but they refuse to fix anything...NEVER AGAIN will I purchase a Toyota...it is the most UNSAFE car I have ever owned. I will teach my kids to avoid Toyota like the plague.

The ride and cabin quality is good. Compare to Honda Odyssey, it will be nice to include the rear view side mirror camera. However, I still like Toyota better due to my prior experience on my 2007 Civic.

  • It doesnt get any better than this! - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I traded in my 2000 Mazda MPV for this Van last month. Not only is the Sienna in a completely different class as a vehicle, the experience of actually buying the Sienna could not have been better. I swear, the Sienna doesnt drive, it levitates. Complete with DVD player, our new LE 8 passenger handles my three teenagers and a friend for each without flinching. Now having an 8 passenger vehicle means that Mom gets to bring a friend along too! Even the dogs love it and have plenty of room. Three cheers to Toyota for creating such a masterpiece!
