Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

After much thinking, we bought the Sienna over the 4-Runner. A 2 year old and an infant, we needed more room. This is my first foreign vehicle and it is absolutly amazing! Looked at its competition (Honda and Nissan) and the Toyota won hands down. Dealer was great, although they didnt have the one we wanted they were able to get one within a week and were realistic with price. This van (like so many others I swore I would nerver buy a Minivan!) has everything we could ever want plus some. The leather is unbelievably comfortable, 3 zone climate, automatic side and rear doors. Go drive it and you wont be disappointed!

  • Great minivan...needs improvement on entertainment - 2015 Toyota Sienna

I love everything about this van, except the DVD system. We installed both the regular DVD and the blue-ray system. It’s complicated to get the system going. I think I have it down now, but the sound for the movie goes through the radio. Whenever you go out of the city, it picks up different radio stations. For a long trip, which is why we installed it in the first place, it can get VERY frustrating for both the kids and the parents! Not good design at all. I know when we bought it they told us you can just find another station and program it. That was also complicated in the first place, who wants to do that again! Toyota needs to fix this! Bad design! Otherwise, we love our van.

Had unresolved airbag recall, motor was making "ticking" sound, battery connections had corrosion and cable frayed. Steering wheel made squeaking/rubbing sound.

This is our second Sienna and we love it. It drives great, and is smooth and quiet. We love the dual power sliding doors.

  • Great Family Vehicle - 2010 Toyota Sienna

I purchased this vehicle for my wife (and three kids). Test drove various models including the Odyssey. The key feature that drove us to choose the Sienna was the AWD otherwise the Odyssey would have been our choice. The Odyssey drives very smoothly and it felt very comfortable. However the Sienna is very close. I was a bit disappointed with the ride as you feel pretty much every bump on the street. I guess it is because of the run flat tires since they are so stiff. Overall the interior design in very good and it works great for the family.

Had vehicle for 2 months and love it. Gas mileage is very good compared to other vans. Engine is right power for weight.

I have a Sienna Symphony model and boy is it great. It does everything right and has never had one problem. It tows, holds cargo and people, and never has broken down. It isnt engaging to drive but it gets the job. This car is a true man van.

  • Over All Good BUY - 1999 Toyota Sienna

We have had problems getting the vehicle to maintain its wheel alignment. The passanger door handle has broken. And we have 75K miles and have went thru 3 sets of brakes. The dealer says it is normal wear. Other than that the vehicle has been a good vehicle.

  • Love it, but a few small quirks... - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I went from a Dodge Grand Caravan to my new Sienna! I fell in love with it at first sight, and love driving it. We have had several problems though, and I am not sure if it is as well-made as toyotas usually are.At 100 miles, a tire blew (defect). Then, the back of the drivers seat fell off! The lights stay on indefinitely if a door is left open, the tailgate rattles, and the brakes feel almost spongy. It is now in the shop for the 2nd time. I do love everything else about this van - with the running boards, its as "cool" as a minivan can get!!!

  • Excellent 2011 Sienna - 2011 Toyota Sienna

I purchased Sienna from Fremont Toyota with $1000 lower than the invoice price through corresponding e-mails. The newly designed 2011 Sienna has enough room fitting a 6 Ft body comfortably. I had my head banging on the door frame in 2010 Sienna. 2011 Sienna has lots of power with very fast and smooth acceleration. It drives solid with sharp turns. Bluetooth in the car functions very well. People can’t tell I’m using the speaker phone while driving on freeway. 2011 Sienna is very quiet on freeway. The two- step rear separate seats up-down is very lovely. Satellite radio is excellent, clear with high fidelity. All the designs are going through thoughtful process. I can even compare 2011 Sienna
