Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

I have bought and sold plenty cars and suvs... but comfort wise and mpg and loading for long travels

  • 2002 Sienna Symphony - 2002 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Our Sienna Symphony is a great minivan for the price. Our only complaint is that we only get about 20-22 mpg on 3.0l V-6 engine. Our 1993 Grand Voyager with 3.3l engine still gets around 18- 20 mpg. We believe that our new minivan which has a smaller engine displacement and smaller size overall should get a bit more than a mile per gallon than a 10-year old minivan.

  • Great van; you need to read the manual! - 2011 Toyota Sienna

There are so many reviews here that talk about problems that are not really problems. Cant use all the GPS features when the car is moving? Do you know you can talk to it? The voice-activated navigation is amazing on this car; English is not my first language but NEVER ever did the car not understand what I was telling it, whether for GPS use or other things, actually. You think the iPod integration is bad? Dont forget you can stream audio via Bluetooth (with an iPhone for instance) and this works flawlessly. Problem with brakes while going downhill? Use engine-braking with the transmissions manual mode; it is so great to have this. I barely touch the brakes coming down a hill.

  • bad transmission - 2000 Toyota Sienna

Had to replace the transmission at 15k and less than two years old. The dealership took two weeks to get the part and then they botched the job so i ended up stranded.

  • A great van - 2003 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I took delivery of my 03 Sienna yesterday. And I love it I just wish it came with a better Horse Power,Standard Awd,an air compressor like on the GM cars, also an Onstar* system, and a navigation system like on the honda, more cupholders, automatic tailgate, fold down third row seat, add more colors, make the interior materials good, make the ride good and eliminate the ratlles and squeaks. Other than that its set.

  • impressed every day - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I highly recommend the Sienna, weve had it a year and absolutely love it. We purchased the limited with Nav and the high tech features are still wowing me every time I drive the car. The price was a bit more than we wanted to spend, but its worth every penny. The sonar on the limited is a must, we use it all the time, and toyota navigation is more impressive than the Hondas and Nissans Ive seen.

  • 8 passenger mini van - 2015 Toyota Sienna

Best 8 passengers mini van ever which I owned, with ease, roominess and comfort. Reliability is excellent. Larger than my previous mini vans. Cargo space behind the 3 rd; row seat is generous. No complains.!!

  • Swagger Wagon Quality? - 2011 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Bought this van when our 2nd child was on her way last June. Immediately loved the practicality and versatility of the interior. It just makes life easy with kiddos in car seats. Also have used it to haul various cargo and people and wondered what we did without it. It drives well for a van with a smooth ride although the steering and brake feel are a little light. The dash plastic is a tad on the cheesy side but the switchgear has a quality feel. Unfortunately so far we have had a window leak, a recall notice for the brake pedal bracket, and now have a stability control problem that has illuminated 4 warning lights and the central info screen. What the heck has happened to Toyota Quality?

  • Good for 5 or more! - 2005 Toyota Sienna

My wife & I owned a 2001 Sienna (older style) and really liked it; however it had 2 bench seats and we already had 1 child and now a set of twins on the way! We bought the 05 model and havent looked back. We love the fold down seats! Theres lots of storage in the rear and the car has plenty of power even when loaded with 3 kids and 4 adults. On one particular road trip with just th 5 of us I calculated an average of 29 MPG. Around town it is usually only about 20 MPG. Cant beat it for the money, it rides great, and has good safety ratings. We look forward to seeing how long we can hold on to this one!
