Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

I traded a 2001 Honda Odyssey which was the best van available at that time. I looked at all the vans before purchasing the Sienna which, I believe, is by far the best van on the market today. It is extremely quiet with a very smooth ride. The quality & workmanship is outstanding. Moving of the second row seat is not as easy and convenient as the Odyssey.

I have not yet taken possession of my new Sienna. My 98 Sienna is my joy. It is without a doubt the most comfortable auto I have ever had. All rows of seats are just as comfortable as the front. Long trips are a breeze! Handles beautifully at high speeds and the 2004 turns on a dime. The road noise on the 2004 is all but gone. It has style, reliability and is made to last.

I really loved EVERY improvement, the ONLY thing that needs MORE improvement would be having the second row also fold like the New Nissan Quest 2004 model. Im very glad for the AWD, for the windows that retract for the second row. However it would be nice if they had a sky light like the Nissan Quest also

This car drives very well. The ride is excellent and the space in the car is gargantous. I am a tall person and this van is made for me. It has a great value and is loaded with standard features, from a rear seat that folds into the cargo floor to power 2nd row windows that actually go down. This car is great and I hope you consider buying one.

Its best for me. Both second and thrid rows can recline. Its important feature for family on a long trip. Quiet and comfortable ride. Engine is powerful enough. Flexible seatings arrangement. And of course, very reliable.

  • A great SUV/MiniVan with extras - 2011 Toyota Sienna

After 3 Ford and 1 Toyota mini-vans, here is what I think about the Sienna. First of all the $2300 down and 299/mo lease promo with 24 mo free maintenance is crazy cheap. As cheap as the numbers for my previous Sienna w 0% 48 mo (minus what it is worth afterwords). The Sienna drives different then my wives Sienna as the all electric steering seems to not be as nimble in the parking lot, but I was on some back rds in Texas yesterday and that steering was tight, easy and very accurate, all the windows are now auto down, the 4 whl dsc and traction control are std, new knee airbag makes the steering wheel not come down as far..but adj and drv seat works for me.

  • Questioning Toyotas Reliability Reputation - 2011 Toyota Sienna

I purchased the van new and it now has about 106,300 km. This van is now about 4.5 years old and in the last 7 month, Ive had the following problems; (1) air conditioner compress had to be replaced, (2) starter motor failed, (3) Driver power seat failed. Other than these problems, I really enjoyed driving this van.

  • Good Performer -- beautiful family car. - 2000 Toyota Sienna

Bought it new. Thrilled by its looks at first sight -- Much preferred it to Honda Odysseys appearance. Price difference was negligible between the Honda and the Sienna (Sienna was $200 more) -- the Sienna felt more car-like in handling and ride, was more comfortable for the driver and front passenger, and had better visibility. My biggest gripe about minivans -- make them with rear windows that open? I am claustrophobic, and I wish minivan designers would not make you feel so closed in. Would like a hybrid minivan soon, and if tax rebates are given for hybrids, thatll be what we trade up to.

This is the most comfortable vehicle Ive ever driven. Its easy to handle - doesnt feel like youre driving a huge car. Plenty of room for adults, kids and cargo.
