Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Base 4 cylinder - 2011 Toyota Sienna

Just returned from our trip to the mts. Of North Carolina. One day we drove from Franklin to highlands on the gorge rd which is rt. 64, a very steep, twisty, narrow road. We road the 12 miles up and back down from about 2000 ft. Elevation to over 4500 ft. We had absolutely no problem what so ever with the 4 cylinder engine. It performed better than my 3.3 liter Dodge and having the 6 speed transmission made it a breeze. The highest rpm were about 2500. I cant explain what a joy it was to drive this van on that very steep road. I have driven it for the past 10 years with Chrysler products and the Toyota out performed them head over heals. If you are thinking about the 4 cylinder.

  • Love the XLE - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We traded our 2000 XLE for the new 2004 XLE and we love it. The car handles great. The 2 big pet peeves we had with the 2000 Sienna were the wide turning radius and awkward fold/removal of the rear seats. The 2004 redesign is fantastic and corrected both of these issues. Also, the convenience of the rear audio, dual power doors, and remote rear door make it that much nicer to drive day in and day out.

  • Awesome - 2011 Toyota Sienna

Love the van. Dont pay sticker. We got nearly 3k off. Feels like a Lexus. first class. Looks like the new Odyssey will beat its fuel efficiency. If you tow things I am having a hard time finding a hitch as it is very new. Hope one gets designed by the Spring. Excellent ride and fun to drive. It does not appear that you can change dvd while driving. Looks like parking break needs to be on. I dont like that.

  • Great Family Van - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

After three months of driving the Toyota Sienna 2004, I am still as thrilled about the car as when I drove it away from the dealership. I have driven it to Las Vegas (approx 275 miles) twice and am amazed at the Siennas comfort and stability. The engine is strong and responsive, cruising at 80-85 seems like 65. Turning radius is wonderful and helps tremendously when parking. The interior is comfortable. I would strongly recommend this car. Our previous van was a Windstar and test drove the Odyssey which was a great car also.

  • NEW VAN - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

EXTREAMLY LUXIOUS, HAS A LOT OF GREAT FEATURES,ROLL DOWN SECOND WINDOWS, FOLD DOWN SEATS, AUTOMATIC SLIDING AND REAR DOORS. HAD A 98 WINDSTAR THAT THE WIFE WOULD RARELY DRIVE, BUT HAVE A HARD TIME KEEPING HER OUT OF THE SIENNA. WE ALSO HAVE A 2000 AVALON AND ARE VERY HAPPY WITH BOTH TOYOTAS.

  • Toyoto Sienna 2004 LE - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Quite, drives well. Decent mileage. Too many interlocking safety controls. Dont like the black on the radio consle and on the side arm rests. Prefer wood grain or the same color as the rest of the interior.

  • 2006 Sienna Limited Fwd rocks - 2006 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Our Sienna Limited Fwd is still in break-in, so mileage cant be fully rated (weve averaged about 14 MPG overall, but have less than 200 miles on the vehicle, almost none on open highway). The Bluetooth integration and backup camera are must-have features, IMHO (for safety alone). The nits are minor.

  • First time minivan owner - 2015 Toyota Sienna
    By -

This is my first time owning a minivan. I have a growing family and came from a long line of Honda Accords. I had recently purchased a 2014 Honda Pilot, but VCM vibration has turned me off on all Honda V-6s (if you are in anyway OCD, avoid Honda VCM V-6 engines like the plague - you will feel vibration and hear noise). Thus, I traded it for the Sienna. I have only owned the Sienna two days, but my family loves it! It rides so nicely and smoothly. It has good pickup for a van and seems very well built. The electronics are a easy to master, and the A/C is super cold, which is a huge plus in the humid South. The rear TV is huge, but you can get by with ipads and save the $$.

  • What a great van - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Weve had a 97 Windstar for 5 yrs now and have been pleased with that, but after looking at the new Freestar vs. the new Sienna....it was no comparison. Ive also driven the Honda minivan (my sister owns one) and I just couldnt stand the way it drove. The Sienna is family friendly. I have 4 children and they range in size from 59" teenager boys to almost 4 1st grader and they all are comfortable in all the seats of the passenger areas. Love the tri zone heat/air. Im always cold and my husband is always hot. We got the leather, DVD player (dealer threw in 2 more headsets for us), moonroof, spoiler, running boards....all cool options

  • Great Van - Keep an Eye on the Tires - 2006 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I love everything about it. AWD works great in the snow, we live in the mountains so having to replace the tires every 12,000 is something I am used to. Just bought a donut spare to throw in the back on long trips. The kids love it, the wife loves it, and I am happy to get at least 18 MPG. Better than the 11 MPG I got with an Expedition. Highly recommended. Just keep an eye on the tire pressure with the run flats. No biggie. Everyone should keep track of this stuff anyway. The gauges light up fantastic at night. Very satisfied.
