Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Absolutely love it!! - 2007 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We test drove the Honda Odyssey & Toyota Sienna and liked the feel of the Sienna, much smoother. There is plenty of interior room for 3 car seats plus cargo. After switching from a 4Runner, still getting used to driving "the bus", but love it nonetheless.

  • I WILL NOT buy another Toyota - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I have had constant problems with mine. Like another reviewer, my sliding door fell off the track also and the window EXPLODED!. Toyota had it for a week, and now it sounds like Im dragging a shovel everytime I open it. We also have had problems with the dash lights going off. It is quite dangerous at night. Twice it ahs stalled when I was picking up my children. We had a Caravan with no problems. TOYOTA can ROT IN HELL for all Im concerned. Im buying another Caravan

  • Cracked dash board - 2006 Toyota Sienna
    By -

My Sienna has always been garage kept, low miles, used by a stay at home mom. My dash board has cracked from passenger side all the way to the driver side. Also, the car has never been wrecked. Contacted Toyota - typical response - out of warranty then we cant help you. Its kinda funny, because my husband just bought a Sequoia. Hubby thought maybe we will replace my car with another Toyota since dealer was negotiating. My repsponse was I wont own another Toyota!

  • The BEST minivan I have ever driven! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I have had this jem for about a year an a half and we just love to drive it and show it off! Its roomie and I think its cargo space just cant be beat!

  • Perfect Van - 2006 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I swore a few years ago that Id never own a minivan. Fortunately, I reconsidered due to the pricing of SUVs and the amount of room a minivan provides. This van is PERFECT for me and my family. Lots of room on the inside (Plenty for my 20 y/o and 6 & 7 y/o). The ride is not like a truck. Very smooth and very quiet. Driving in Belgium we easily hit 90MPH without feeling a thing. Very comfortable! I was a touch disappointed in only having one automatic sliding door, but I can live with that. We added the DVD player which I feel is a must for a Dads sanity with the kids in the back seat. They come with wireless headsets...its just like driving by myself.

  • Not all Siennas are alike - 2005 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Weve read in multiple publications how the Sienna could pass for a Lexus. We drove one that indeed drove and handled like a Lexus. At another dealership, the Sienna (same pkg, trim level) drove like my 93 Geo. Beware... be sure to test drive the one youre buying! As for the car itself, the ride is a pleasure, accelerates without effort, and the flexibility in arranging the 8 seats is great.

  • Gave the Sienna another chance but now regret it. - 2015 Toyota Sienna

We were pretty happy with our 2015 Toyota Sienna LE and drove it to almost 200,000 miles. Our only issue was with how fast the Sienna went through tires even with normal use. Rotated and balanced the tires as recommended and even used two different brand tires but would have to replace all the tires at 40,000 miles (purchased 65-80,000 Mile Warranty tires from Michelin and Yokohama). Was told by the Costco tire department that 2004-05 Siennas had a known problem. When it was time for a new vehicle, we were torn between the Odyssey and Sienna. We ended up choosing the Sienna because we liked our local dealer and, of course, they would have fixed the tire issue over the course of 10 years, right? Nope! Just had to replace all 4 tires on the new Sienna (with 26,000 miles) due to excessive wear on outer ring of tire to the point they were legally bald. The middle and inner part of tire had normal use so we were told to have the alignment checked. Alignment came back fine but we were recommended to have the camber bolt replaced at the cost of $280 dollars. None of this is covered under warranty. We will be moving to a Honda Odyssey when our lease is up in a year.

  • Very Disappointing - 1999 Toyota Sienna

I bought the Sienna with high hopes but I am really disappointed with its performance. The drive is not fun at all, the brakes give problems all the time, wind and road noise is high and visibility is pretty poor.

  • Good - 2003 Toyota Sienna

The car was a good car...I love it, its the car ive always wanted

  • Great Van!! - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We purchased our 2000 Sienna about a year ago. It now has 112000 miles on it and runs great! We have not had any major problems, other than replacing brake pads. It drives very good, like a car, and its roomy, the seats are very comfortable. It seems very solid and well built. I dont worry about reliability at all- its a Toyota!! Great gas mileage for something bigger. Very easy to get in and out of with kids ! Very smooth ride. You just cannot beat Toyotas for reliability!!
