Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

Ive had this Sienna for about 3 weeks and have put 2500 miles on it. I took my first trip in it and loved every minute of it. I felt very safe on the highway driving 80 MPH and more at times. The handle was very smooth and precise. There was virtually no noise which is very important on a long trip. The seats are very comfortable and relaxing. Ive owned other vans and SUVs and none compared to the Sienna. For once I have purchased a vehicle that Im happy with. Drive it and youll fall in love with it. I had many comments about its good look and comfort.

Weve been driving our van for about 4 years now. We got the 8 passenger model to accommodate our family of 4 and if needed another family of 4. That has worked out superb. The only drawback is the lack of armrests in the middle row had we gone with the 7 passenger model. We put aftermarket leather (well worth It) and all weather mats (we bought mfr, but there are other good mats at a better value). The van has a ton of power and Ive never felt like Im driving a van, I like the ride and the 12 cup/bottle holders around the van. Automatic door on passengers side only is nice but not necessary. Maintenance has been minimal LOF and milestones, no issues. Got new tires at 55K miles.

Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase of the 2004 Sienna. My kids love it and like the ride and feel of the van itself. It has easy access for all to get in and out. Very good gas mileage.

About a month ago I decided my wife needed a larger and more comfortable vehicle than her 2000 4runner and shopped around. After reading the reviews on the 04 sienna I found myself in the difficult task of convincing my wife that this minivan was not a boring moms vehicle. One test drive was all it took, now she loves her sienna.

This is a great van. Bought it for Toyota quality and I got so much more. The package with side curtain airbags and a DVD player are a plus. It keeps my kids busy on long drives. Also the AC plugs in the car are a great bonus when you need to run something or want to have a laptop plugged in on long rides. No problems in 4 months of ownership. I recommend it to everyone.

  • The Best Minivan? - 2011 Toyota Sienna

This is our first foray into the world of minivans and we couldnt be happier. The V6 engine is like butta, the seat are extra-comfy, and the added security of the AWD is priceless. This is the nicest vehicle that Ive ever owned. We also paid about $3000 below MSRP. We also own an 07 Camry. Thats 2 Toyotas after years of owning Hondas. We may never go back to any of Toyotas competitors.

This is the Lexus of minivans. Toyota is living up to its reputation. They definitely did their homework and researched everything. We have had the Sienna for a little over a month and it has not disappointed us in the least. We cannot wait to take it on a road trip this summer.

Very Nice, it floats over the road like a feather. Excellent steering. Turn the wheel all the way to the right or left and wow you turn on a dime.

  • Good, solid vehicle - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Have owned our 2004 for almost 4 yrs. now. Have about 47,000 miles on it. It is built very well in terms of ride quality and noise. There have been two reliability issues, both of which were covered under warranty, a window motor and a speed sensor. The original tires were cheap garbage and lasted only about 40K. The best replacement is for them is the Yokohamas, a steal at about $100 each installed. The Yokohamas are rated for 80K. My only complaint with this vehicle is the gas mileage. We have averaged 17.7 MPG since new, and this is a mix of suburban and highway driving. It will get 25-26 MPG at 60-65 MPH, but only about 22-23 MPG at 75-80 MPH. Otherwise, safe, comfortable, reliable.

This is our first mini van that we have purchased, however I have driven a Chevy Astro and the GMC version at work for years. The first thing I noticed was the amazing field of view I get while driving our van. A large front windshield and big side windows allows you to see everything. The V-6 has good pick up from a stop and decent gas mileage. The plastic dash and other parts of the interior are no worse than any other vehicle that is being made. I will say that the controls on the center dash look like of thrown together and its takes a bit to get used to where everything is.
