Overview & Reviews
Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.
In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

Lexus Van - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By Melissa - September 24 - 2:00 amI owned a RX300. I feel like driving the same car. Except, this one is bigger and heavier. Of course, RX is more powerful because it is 1000 pounds less than the Sienna. Anyway, my kids love it verrrry much! Very comfortable.

Traction Control is a Poor Performer - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By rockgj - September 24 - 2:00 amGreat interior space and comfort, fair exterior style. A terrible performer in the snow. If you need a vehicle that moves you through, dont get the FWD, try the AWD model.

Oddyssey strikes again - 2003 Toyota Sienna
By mjsohel - September 22 - 10:00 amThe Sienna is a terrific car really. Its just that its nut as great and fun to drive as the Town&Country and the Oddyssey. The Sienna lacks quality in the areas of comfort, convenience, price, and driving/ride experience. Other than that its as good as the Oddyssey. Toyota could make their minivan good by maybe fixing the style, adding comfort and more convenience feature like power liftgate and a navigation system like on the Camry and the Land Cruiser and maybe roadside assistance and the Onstar* system like on the Gm cars. In summary the Sienna is a great minivan, but lacks some features.

Buy the Extended Warranty - 2006 Toyota Sienna
By Bill_in_CO - September 21 - 1:50 pmWe bought our Sienna new in 2006 and have driven 48,000 miles. The vehicle has been back to the shop 7 times and repairs are now costing us staggering sums of money. If you like this vehicle, be sure to get the extended warranty. The drivers side automatic sliding door just broke and cost $1800 to fix. The dealer said this is a common problem. The rear hatch wont close on its own and the dealer cant fix it. After 10k miles and 35k miles, we had to have both sliding doors fixed as loose parts were rattling loudly. The run-flat tires are terrible. They wear out at 15k miles and cost $1000 to replace. The vehicle doesnt come with a spare tire.

Fantastic gas mileage - 2006 Toyota Sienna
By New Mexico - September 17 - 1:56 pmWe drive in New Mexico and get about 25.5 mpg going back and forth to work. On the highway at 75 mph we get anywhere from 27 to 31 mpg! The seats in this van are almost as comfortable as the ones in our old Mercury Villager but not quite. This is our travel car and we drive all over New Mexico, very fuel efficient and comfy.

Sienna after 2 years - 2012 Toyota Sienna
By tater_skins - September 6 - 3:02 pmAfter two years the 2012 Sienna is doing its job. There have not been any quality issues and my kids love having their own sliding doors. Here are some things to consider if you are looking at getting this used. 1) This vehicle eats tires. Even rotating every 5k like recommended and itll probably need a new set at 25k. 2) Drivers seat arm rest is way too high, and doesnt even line up with the rest built into the door! So uncomfortable it is not used 3) I infrequently pull a trailer weighing roughly 2500lbs and the V6 is not a strong as Id like. Van is rated for 3500lbs, that would be a stretch with any hills. 4) Gas mileage never lives up to billing. In MN winters it gets 16mpg combined

2004 Sienna - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By Jamie from Tampa - September 4 - 2:00 amWe just took delivery of our Sienna this week. I am very impressed with the initial quality of the vehicle. Our first tank of gas netted us a 22 mpg with almost all of that around town. We are having fun with all of the "toys" included with the xle package. We leased it and found it to be a bargain vs. the competition. They are in fairly short supply right now in the Tampa area.

Solid Minivan - 2006 Toyota Sienna
By Erynex - September 3 - 6:40 pmGets good mileage and has a very smooth and quiet ride. We were able to purchase a 100,000k mile Toyota extended warranty online for a very reasonable price. The dealership has been very helpful, even after the sale. We ordered it with many extras and were able to negotiate a good price. This is my second Toyota and probably not my last.

Perfection? - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By jr_fan - August 30 - 10:00 amThis is our second Sienna. The 2004 shows that Toyota had done their homework and built a mini-van that is very liveable. We owned a 1998 Sienna and I can tell you that we do not miss it one bit. I do wish that we had purchased the DVD player for our kids.
