Overview & Reviews
Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.
In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

average product with below average safety - 2013 Toyota Sienna
By greencar2 - March 5 - 5:28 pmMain selling point was slight reliability edge as reported by Consumer reports over other minivans. However in safety, airbag counts are not a good measure. The airbags help if the structure fails and in this aspect the Hondas are many years ahead. Check out the side pole gov crash testing at safecar.gov or the small overlap front test conducted by the Insurance Inst. Hondas consistantly outscore all other models except volvos. We had a bad experience at our local dealer in Dover, DE. The price and terms were verbally agreed to but on the day of delivery they were changed in favor of the dealer. Do not deal with this dealership. Get everything in writing and signed by the owner.

Third Sienna (Limited with convenience pkg., nav and entertainment pkg.) - 2012 Toyota Sienna
By minivanmom123 - March 4 - 1:44 amI previously had a 2004 Limited, 2011 Limited and now the 2012 Limited. My 2011 Sienna was totaled (not our fault). I was very happy with how well the Toyota protected my entire family. My kids begged me to replace the 2011 with another Sienna. The Sienna drives well and feels like a luxury vehicle (as far as minivans go!). Its comfortable, drives smooth, has great features and proved to be a safe vehicle. The pickup power is good, the doors open smoothly and quietly. I looked at luxury SUVs and many didnt have all the features the limited Sienna had (and were $15K more.) Gas mileage in the city, for me, averages 18 according to the display monitor.

Sienna LE should have power back door - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By chokdee - March 3 - 10:00 amWith 2 kids and a growing family, 2004 Sienna fits perfectly. The ride is very smooth and quiet. The engine is so powerful. It would be great if the LE comes with both power sliding doors and power back door. There should be an alarm when the headlights are on when the ignition key is removed.

Glitches - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Alex - February 26 - 7:50 amAfter intense research on model trims and other types of vans I decided to go for the Sienna. The 8 passenger accomodations are good for 2004. Although I was dissapointed that the back window didnt open as with my 2003 Toyota 4Runner. The running board availiability is not good. If you want the running boards you have to order them with the van. Yes you can put them on but for $2000. Just like on the Tacoma but now on a Tacoma they can be put on by a dealer.

The best of whats available today - 2011 Toyota Sienna
By Coty - February 26 - 4:16 amWe have 5 kids and this is our 3rd minivan. This is not the "Perfect" minivan in the world, but it is gosh darn close. It seems like the accountants stepped in at the last minute and prevented Toyotas engineers from making this a benchmark vehicle. The ride is very compliant and it handles the typical curvy mountain roads just fine without feeling to floaty or tipsy like many other minivans. My biggest complaint is that the steering feel is way too light and provides almost zero feedback in the Limited with AWD trim. I dont expect a BMW driving experience from a minivan, but I expect the steering to have more feel than a 1980s Lincoln Town Car. The acceleration and braking are great.

The Finest Minivan On The Market Today - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By thrbek - February 17 - 10:00 amThe 2004 Sienna is truly the finest minivan on the market today. It has been completely redesigned and doesnt even compare to the earlier-model Siennas, or to any other minivan offered by other auto-makers. The refinement in this vehicle is amazing. Toyota designers thought of everything. Three-row side-impact curtain airbags are a HUGE selling point. This vehicle is one of the safest you can buy for the money. The 28MPG fuel economy on the highway, a result of advanced Variable Valve Timing technology, allows a peppy 3.3L V6 engine to put out 230HP when needed, while adjusting engine performance for increased fuel economy when cruising.

Best van on the market - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By nbscmom - February 17 - 10:00 amWhat a great vehicle. We waited a few months for a 2004 and it was worth the wait. We love the comfort and styling. The gas mileage on our recent trip was 30 mpg on the interstate at 70 mph. We have enjoyed it immensely and would definetely recommend it to anyone we know
