Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

Great Minivan...easy to live with. Drives smooth and solid

  • Cheap interior materials and other parts - 2014 Toyota Sienna

Cheap plastics, fabrics (floors), finishes in cabin makes its interior look cheap even though Ive got XLE+Navi option. Comparing to previous Sienna model with same trim option, it has less leather surface than older models to save its cost. You will find other cost saving effort from Toyata, unless you are paying $40.000+ for limited edition. Check its keyless remote, interior finishes, XLEs leather finishes/quality, they are lower than average car. Especially you are also considering Oddysey Ex-L+Nav I chose Sienna because of its smooth engine feel, but now regret. In sum, $ per value, Odyssey is much better even though you may find Hondas MSRP is higher.

We bought this van brand-new as soon as the new 2004s came out. Traded from our Honda Odyssey. The Sienna is far more comfortable, quieter and more fuel efficient than the Honda. It drives and handles like a Lexus RX 330, gets around 23 mpg city and 29 highway, (loaded at 75 mph). We have over 95,000 miles on it now, and have done nothing but routine service. One set of brakes and one set of tires. Amazing that this vehicle will do everything that the big SUVs will do and still get such great mpg. When I see the big SUVs at the pump complaining I just smile. It may not look as fancy on the outside, but it does all it is asked to do with style. for a lot less.

  • Very pleased - 2010 Toyota Sienna

We traded in a 2008 Saturn Vue AWD for this 2010 8 passenger Sienna. We are very pleased. Have already put 2000 miles on it the first month. It has more HP than the Saturn and gets better MPG. We have gotten as high as 24 to 25 MPG a couple of times. Very roomy and comfortable ride. We can put our grandson in his booster seat in the middle seat in the second row. He has plenty of leg room and can recline just his seat for naps.

  • Not comfortable for the larger driver - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

The drivers seat is uncomfortable and the steering wheel sits too low, even in the up position. The seats were built for small/average drivers and do not fit an average/large driver comfortability There is trouble with the driver side window motor, so beware

Have been very happy so far with my Sienna - took me over three months to get it from order date at dealership but it was worth the wait. I hope I remain this satisfied and if so will for sure buy another toyota product.

  • Only a very few small complaints! - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Just got my new 8 passenger LE and it is fiiiine...getting lots of looks on the road now!! Only a few quibbles: from my driving position the steering wheel blocks the turn signal indicators. Uh oh - didnt even realize I had a turn signal on for about 1/2 mile! Also, no bell to alert you that your lights are on when the keys are removed. I cant get the "spy mirror" to get a good reflection of the middle seat - again, maybe due to my driving position. The ride is super smooth and cushy on pavement, but it doesnt take the bumps of a gravel road the way my Subaru Outback did. Overall, though, I love it and we are calling it "moms limo!"

    safe and comfortable. best value.

  • So far so good - 2006 Toyota Sienna

We bought this a week back. Only have 300 miles in it. It drives well, although the road noise is pronounced (not what I would have expected from Toyota). The instrument panel is well laid out. However, I have not yet mastered all the buttons. Did not buy AWD based on negative run-flat tire reviews. We got 17.5 mpg (60% highway) so far. We have a 3 yr old, so she does not use the wireless headphone, so all of us have to listen to her DVDs (have not yet figured out how to mute the front speakers). We have two camrys (10 & 12 yrs old) and this is our third toyota, based on our experience with toyota reliability. Did take the extended warranty based on the pervasiveness of electrical systems

  • Nice Van - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I had a Windstar before this van and the difference is incredible. The Sienna is very quiet, smooth ride and much better gas milage. Lots of room and the split fold down rear seat is great.
