Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Best Minivan on the market - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I love the new Sienna 2004 minivan. The redesign is great on the outside and even greater on the inside. The shift is located on dash under the radio, how convenient. My kids love that they can recline the back seats and the seats can also be moved back and forth for comfort. The room in the rear is outstanding. I could go on and on but here are just a few of the best fitures.

  • Need Real Tires - 2005 Toyota Sienna

The 05 Sienna we have is a great vehicle. Lots of room, quiet, good looking and lots of power for a mini van. I love driving it... you dont know you’re in a van unless you look in the rear view mirror, its awesome. But I dont know what Toyota was thinking with the tires they picked??? The Dunlop SP 4000 tires are total junk!!! We have 2200 miles on the van and they are wearing like they have 12,000-15,000 on them and are already cupping @ 2,200 miles. What a joke!! If it weren’t for the tires it would be perfect for us!!!

Great car so far. No rattles or squeaks. Ride is quite and smooth. Recall on the car for the gas tank was done quickly and without any trouble. Taken on 2000 mile trip and the milage was around 26mpg -was impressed. Going over 70 mph with air on most of the trip. Trip was from calif to washington so there was mountains included in the trip. Dogs love the room it the van.

  • Too Many Odd Problems - 2004 Toyota Sienna

We bought this van when they were first released and weve had the feeling that Toyota was rushing to get them out to the dealerships. The driver side window fell off track and broke inside the door, the power door locked open and we had to cut the cable to get it closed, brakes and tires were replaced, and now the power steering needs repaired. Nothing has been covered under warranty or recall so far. We do wish we had held off and bought a Honda and may end up taking a loss and trading it in even though we had hoped to drive it for many more years.

  • Get ripped off by Toyota - 2004 Toyota Sienna

My 2004 Toyota Sienna had a faulty radiator. Who has to replace a radiator in todays cars? I contacted Toyota regarding this and they didnt care. I then had trouble with my power steering that has a recall on 2004 Siennas but guess what? My particular vin # is not covered under the recall. Coincidence? I think not! I was told by my mechanic that Toyota takes about 1 in 3 calls and does something about it. Oh, also you get to replace the Timing Belt at 90,0000 miles to the tune of $1500! I bought this car thinking I could get a good 200,000 miles out of it (because according to the dealer - this is a quality vehicle and thats why we dont dicker on prices!). I dont think so!!!

  • Second Sienna, but not the best.. - 2012 Toyota Sienna

Its a Toyota.. So it will likely live as long as my 01 which I traded in at 395K miles. Although, the interior quality isnt quite as nice as the 01, and the run flat tires are terrible. But it is HUGE in comparison, and I average about 24mpg with my new non run flat tires, in a 30%city 70% highway driving situation.

  • Great - for a minivan - 2002 Toyota Sienna

As per usual, a very solid performer from Toyota. Lacks many of the extras found on domestics. But, rather have reliability than extras

  • Lexus build, Lexus ride - 2005 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Got 5,000+ miles on my Sienna and have got absolutely no complaints... Toyota folks really did their homework on this one. I test drove the Odyssey for a week before test driving the Sienna, the Sienna proved to be a much smoother ride... much better fuel economy while not sacrificing power and performance. All-around quality is much more solid in the Sienna.... feels like a Lexus.

  • Too new to tell - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Only had it for one week and really like it, especially the roominess and comfort. Time will tell, but Im going to rely on Toyotas reputation of well built vehicles, of which Ive already had two, one I still drive around town with 267,000 miles on it, and my Tacoma pickup, with 91,000 miles on it and still looks and runs like a new vehicle. Like the safety features, which are well documented.
