Overview & Reviews
Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.
In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

excellent ride - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By CINDY KLOS - February 23 - 3:40 pmWe love our new Sienna. It was taken on 2 long road trips last summer and both trips were a dream. It was a very comfortable ride both times. We traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to 2 different areas in North Carolina. It is a pleasure to drive. You can turn on a dime. I do not care what the testers say I would never buy another make. I will always stick with the Sienna as long as it is being made.

Not that Bad - 2009 Toyota Sienna
By Jibs - February 22 - 6:10 pmWe just recently bought this vehicle. It only has about 500+ plus mile so far. The van is spacious and comfortable. Like the lumbar support for the seat. Interior design is so perfect. MPG is avg compared to its peers.

Best MiniVan but could use improvement - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By Alan - February 21 - 11:20 pmWe bought this new, just as they came out. What we like: excellent mechanicals, interior well thought out, laser cruise for long trips back east is fabulous, dual auto doors, and folding seats work as advertised, DVD works well. The only mechanical I am not overjoyed with is the brakes they are just OK. First toyota and I am disappointed with the paint quality, interior build is ok but not quite what I expected, and recalls have been more numerous than I expected. I would like to see a lesser tint on the back windows, as visibility is impaired. Mileage is fair at 17 overall, in retrospect I would have gotten the FWD version, no need for the AWD probably.

Its a Toyota - 2007 Toyota Sienna
By tfan - February 21 - 7:00 pmThis is my third Sienna and my kids are grown! It hauls people comfortably and safely. It hauls bicycles and is a changing room at ski resorts. I keep the middle row of seats out and its convenient for loading everything. I fold the back seats down and load my 4 x 8 foot sheets of plywood for my workshop. Basically there is nothing this thing cant do well. People need to get over the soccer mom stigma of mini vans and the Sienna in particular. This is the most versatile, comfortable, reliable vehicle I have ever owned.

mp - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By mprid - February 19 - 10:00 amEverything has been exceptional with our 2004 Sienna except for rust. We have had two bouts of premature rust within 6 months (even with Sym-tech). Rust was found on, and around doors. Comfort, handling, fuel economy have been beyond our expectations. Recently getting 35+ mpg. Rear seat and sliding with windows are excellent.

Sienna is nice, but Sequoia cooler - 2006 Toyota Sienna
By PSSCS - February 18 - 3:20 pmWe bought our 2006 Sienna in May 2006 to help accommodate and transport our growing family. It seemed like the logical solution for a growing family. Minivans are comfortable, and relatively stylish, and supposed to have reasonable fuel economy, right? - but more on that later. We did the usual comparison between the Odyssey and the Sienna. We liked both, but felt that the Sienna was more refined and had a few more amenities. If the Odyssey had a telescoping steering wheel avalable in 2006, we would have bought that, but my wife found that the steering wheel was too far away at her seated driving position. Very refined. Comfortable road handling. Quiet.

Road Warriors Best Friend - 2010 Toyota Sienna
By napamatt - February 16 - 10:13 pmIm a manufacturer rep of engine management and fuel delivery systems for NAPA Auto Parts. I easily travel 40,000 miles annually and drive a 2010 Sienna. It currently has 115,000 miles on it and its one of the most bullet proof vehicles Ive ever had. At well over 100,000 miles Ive kept up on the maintenance which has been almost nothing and its still going strong. To date the only maintenance the van has required has been oil changes, a few sets of tires, and a couple of brake jobs. Ive also flushed the power steering and transmission. It just doesnt really need a lot of maintenance and continues to run strong. The spark plugs are original and still look amazing.

Reliable and safe! - 1999 Toyota Sienna
By Scott - February 9 - 6:26 amBought our Sienna used 3 years ago, and have since driven 30K. This van has proven to be more reliable than other manufactures that our neighbors and friends have had. Other than oil changes, weve only replaced the front struts. The tire pressure light was sometimes a bother, but I figured out the reset by reading the manual. Unfortunately, my wife was in a head on collision, and its unknown if our insurance will fix it or not. However, the airbag worked, and she was back to work the next day with only minor bruises. We plan to get another Sienna if we lose this one. Average MPG was 18, but we often get 25-26 on highway trips.

Happily traded the 2011 for 2015!!! - 2015 Toyota Sienna
By DLu - February 8 - 8:50 amThe 2015 has made improvements in basically all the areas that Ive hated about our 2011 (Limited AWD). In terms of the driving experience, he steering feel and suspension have improved slightly. Rapid inputs in the 2011 are met with a very non-linear resistance, as if it would "catch" at different points of the rotation. Thats gone for 2015. The ride has firmed up a bit, but with an equal amount of improvement in body control. The 2011 was needlessly firm with still too much body roll. The improvement in NVH and the interior (see below) sealed the deal for us.
