Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • A very Surprising revelation - 2004 Toyota Sienna

After driving Hondas for almost 20 years, I had my mind focused on a Honda Odyssey. I was a little reluctant to consider a different brand. So, first, we went out and test drove the Honda Odyssey. One of my local Honda dealers was kind enough to allow us to keep one for a day. As expected, it was a very nice van and the dealer was willing to give a big discount. The next day, we went straight to the Toyota dealer. Unfortunately, they werent willing to let us keep one overnight and pricing was very firm. However, we took it on a long test drive and were amazed at the improvements! To make a long story short, we bought the Sienna XLE and love it.

  • One sophisticated Minivan - 2005 Toyota Sienna

I never thought I would be caught dead in a minivan. I was wrong, this minivan hits home. We tested other SUVs and wagons (no other minivans) and none of them came close to the space utlization or refinment that the Sienna had. Ultimatly the decision came down to the Volvo XC70 or this. My mother had to choose one without testdriving it (my father did that with me)because we neede to jump on the deal. She chose the Sienna becase of the space and toyota reliability. If you are in the maket for a comfortable, reliable vehicle the Sienna is a phenomenal choice.

  • I love my Sienna! - 2010 Toyota Sienna

Its so quiet, smooth, quick, and fuel efficient. I Love my Sienna. It is the best van/car I have ever owned. I already have 1,000 miles on my 2010 Sienna I have had for a week. I have averaged about 21 mpg on the first 2 tanks which is not bad for a van and the way I drive. It is so smooth and quiet its like riding on a cloud. Handling is just fine to me, not as sporty feeling as the Odyssey but it is very capable and secure. The Sienna has some guts for a van as well, just punch it and it GOs! The JBL sound system is awesome along with the Navigation and DVD system! I love the color, Blizzard Pearl! Brakes are strong, I had a few close calls already and it stops like a much smaller car.

VERY COMFORTABLE AND LOTS OF FEATURES IN IT. But not great power.

  • A grandfathers honest opinion - 2013 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I previously owned a new 2011 Toyota Sienna LE, put 30K plus on it and traded for a new 2013 Sienna LE almost 3 years ago. I now have 54K miles on this new 2013 as of 1-29-2016. Overall, this is the BEST vehicle I have ever owned. The best features are: effortless electronic steering, fabulous turning radius, smooth ride, spacious cargo room ( I can haul full 4 x 8 sheets of plywood flat in the rear), dual front and rear climate control, blue-tooth tech for my Ipod and phone, and just plain high quality and reliability of the van. Negatives are: driver side middle seat is cumbersome to remove because of the built in cup holder and seat rail slider, and the poor quality new LIMITED MILEAGE TIRES that the only last for 30K miles is disgraceful ( both of my 2011 and current 2013 Siennas had these Michelin limited mile tires.

  • Love my baby! - 2006 Toyota Sienna

Totaled my other 2006 Sienna, bought new in 2006. EXCELLENT SAFETY FEATURES! Air bag deployed, seatbelts locked & minus bruises from belts, all are totally fine! Bought current Sienna cause we loved this van sooo much! I do agree with others about paint scratching easily & it sometimes seems to shift awkwardly. It came with reg tires (not run-flats for AWD) & a spare; good financial decision. Dont know why those with XLE models are complaining; I have less features & love it! It saved my life & my twin sons. Love my baby!

This is our first Toyota and we are very happy we chose it .This mini van feels like it drives itself and has plenty of room for everything from grandkids to 25 bags of mulch for the garden.

  • Disapointed - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

My 2004 does not ride as smooth as my 2001 Town & Country, is is much noiser inside and not as good fuel milage. It also lacks many of the luxury features such as Pasenger power seat and memory seat. When using Cruise it seems to always downshift on slight grades which I believe accounts for the milage problem

  • Side Door Handle - 1999 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Bought this new--its been great with regular maintenance. Replaced the battery twice, were on 125K now. The side rear door handle on the outside broke off in my hand. $100/part alone. The inside rear door handle has stuck for about 10 of the 11 years--never worked, gets stuck in and then you cant close the door without prying it loose. The only drawbacks are the one side door and the lifting of seats in/out of the van. The newer ones seem a lot better designed. Overall, we love this van and well keep driving it till it dies...
