Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Not thrilled with Quality does not feel like Toyota product - 2005 Toyota Sienna

I am really disappointed about the quality of 2005 Toyota Sienna. It has 112,000 miles and about 8 months ago things starts braking one at a time. Here are some of the issues I have uncounted. * Tries are rotated at every 5,000 miles and alignment at every 15,000 miles still Tires wear at an angle. * Cracks start appearing on the dash board, now cracks are expanded across entire dash board. * Power steering rack start leaking on the both ends and dealer wants $1,800 replace it * Rubbers hosing that holds antenna broken and other rubber items stats cracking * The glue that holds glass to the windows motor came off . * Tailgate struts broken rear door does not keep up.

  • Take it or Leave it. - 2011 Toyota Sienna

Have had the vehicle 5 weeks and logged almost 1,000 miles. Very quiet cabin and tons of get-up-and-go. Fuel economy so far is about 17 mpg, after about 95% in city driving. Seating flexibility is great in general. Hard plastics feel a little cheap (especially for $32,000) but overall fit-and-finish very good. Generally very pleased with our first-ever Toyota. A few surprising features missing or poorly executed however: A mast antenna? Really? Go with a roof- top shark fin, even base Hyundais have them. Turn signals should incorporate a "3-blink lane change" feature. 8-way power driver seat but no power for the front passenger? Move the headlight switch to the dash please & add auto on/off.

This Sienna is a very smooth running minivan with minimal wind and road noise. It has excellent power, especially at highway speeds. The Xenon lights do an excellent job. The cruise control has 2 modes: regular and laser controlled and I am happy to have a choice. I dislike the 5 MPH speed increment on the cruise control and would much prefer a 1-mph adjustment. In the first 2,500 miles of gentle driving, I averaged 19.4 mpg (was hoping for a bit more).

  • wobbling sound - 2002 Toyota Sienna

Upon releasing the accelerator @30mph to 25mph with windows close at night. You will noticed like a humming sound.Which cant be detected/fixed by TOYOTA.

  • Wonderful 2004 Sienna LE - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Picked up the van over the weekend. Love everything about it. Except for one thing. Second row seat backs need to fold fully and have an intermediate stage before tumbling forward. My 4 year old daugher was almost crushed after standing between the second row and first row passenger seat. My wife tried to recline the seat back but it folded forward and tumbled forward, detaching from the rear anchors, pinning my daughter for a second.

  • Great AWD for winter, bad run-flats - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Driving this van has been a joy because I understand its not supposed to be agile; its AWD for heavens sake, its safe, big, roomy and luxurious. But watch out for run flats that rip apart and malfunction with strange bumps. The first one had a bump that couldnt be repaired, $300 to replace by dealer. The 2nd, became flat, then I drove 10 miles and it ripped apart...I had to stop driving immediately and have it towed. Thank god for AAA. 3rd time, driving to NC and tire started sound bad, it was flat/dead/whatever, thats was it, I had it towed to nearest Firestone and told them to dump the run-flats and replace with regular good quality tires. Drove from PA to FL and back, with np.

  • Picked a Winner - 2007 Toyota Sienna

Cant say enough good stuff about this automobile. Broke it in according to the manual (1000 mls) then took it to Niagara Falls and the hills of NY Finger Lake region, about 1800 miles. Great ride, great room, great comfort, great gas mileage. Consistent 20 city/26 highway (with air on at 65-75mph) plus lots of get-up-and-go when needed (love those 266 horses). For me the proof will be in this cars longevity. Our family buys a car and squeezes evry bit of usefulness out before "donating" it to the junkyard (usually about 12-15 years). With this recent jaunt, I have high expectations until that time.

  • Great improvements! - 2010 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I sold a 2005 Sienna to buy the 2010. I was disappointed the new body style wont be out til next year, but there are a lot of interior improvements: soothing dashboard lighting, ipod connector, 110V A/C outlets, automatic fold flat 3rd row seats, great Navigation system, improved DVD system with sound by infrared not FM signal. My husband liked the increased HP and slightly better gas mileage. New colors to choose from. Im very pleased.

  • GREAT MINIVAN!!! - 2006 Toyota Sienna
    By -

This is a great minivan. Its my first minivan switching from sedan. Its a very good size vehicle. I had compared this with Honda Odyssey, and went with this because I liked the interior luxury feel and try out Toyota quality (as heard many good things about it). So far the car is very comforting and quiet when driving around town. It has a lot of gadgets.
