Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • durable, good performance, sweet engine - 1999 Toyota Sienna

Flawless performer for almost 94K now. Only one minor glitch with the tire pressure warning light that the dealer could not remedy. The reminder light isnt an active warning system; I donteven miss it. Wonderful, smooth engine & drive train. Rugged interior (grey cloth) that has worn well with soccer players, two large dogs, antiques, lawn mower, etc. Wish we had gotten the LEs alloy wheels, though.

An execellent van. A little on the small side for a family of 4 or more. No real complaints except that it was kind of pricey.

  • Fun to Drive - 2000 Toyota Sienna

The Sienna van was our first newly purchased vehicle since we got married in 1987 and it was money well spent. The accessability into the van made it a nice change from having to crawl in and out of the seats. Everything for the driver is at your finger tips and the adaptability to the controls was easy.My wife and I think the gas mileage could be better but for the size of the vehicle and motor it is comprable to other vans.

  • The best minivan I have ever driven! - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I was a loyal Dodge Grand Caravan owner. I was about to trade in Caravan number two on Caravan number three, but the new Sienna caught my eye. I am so glad it did! It is sooo much better at everything it does! It is comfortable, it handles smoothly. It is easy to park - even in tight spaces. It has the first cruise control that I have ever seen maintain the set speed - even driving through the Smokies. The best part of this minivan is that it is fun to drive - it doesnt feel like Im driving a "Mommy-mobile." When people ask me about it I tell them "This isnt a minivan - its a sports car that seats seven."

  • Got caught up in the Hype - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Owned 97 Caravan (110,000 miles), toss of a coin between this or the Odyssey. Newer Chryslers had to much plastic. Got caught up in the Toyota hype. Have 4000 miles, 3000 from recent vacation trip. Hopefully the reliability will overcome the disillusion I currently have. The issues maynot effect shorter drivers as much (62"). It may have more cubic feet but not as practical or useable as my Caravan (with the exception of the fold down seats). Not stable in high winds or near large trucks traveling at interstate speeds. Alignment scheduled!!

  • My Living room isnt this comfortable - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Due to the safety ratings on this vehicle, we had planned to get it before the test drive. What a pleasant surprise. This mini van is as close to perfect as you can get. Everything is convenient. All buttons are within easy reach of the driver and passenger and rear controls are easy enough for my 5 year old to function. The kids love the DVD player, and I love the Navigation system. We have not once needed an extra cup holder. The ride is excellent! Id highly recommend this mini van.

  • Great So Far - 2009 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Never had a car this big so its easy to love the huge space. Captains chairs are great for the toddlers. Third row works for two large adults after configuring all seats. Really nice inside. Much smoother and quieter than the Odyssey Im familiar with and tested. 13,000 miles, just regular maintenance. Occasionally when starting the van, the JBL stereo lights are off and the volume knob wont work. Using volume on the steering wheel seems to correct it. Engine is a little loud, seems like a loud exhaust note at times, but quiet when cruising. Tires wearing quickly. Only 17 mpg in city driving. People dont hear us well on Bluetooth, cheap no-name aftermarket is better.

The redesigned sienna is an excelent famaily vehicle, in the past we always drove my 2002 tahoe rather than my wifes 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan that has changed with the Sienna. The Sienna drives better and has more room than the Caravan Its a bit pricy but in the long run its worth a few thousand more for the extra room comport and safty features.

  • Excellent family vehicle. - 2005 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Brand new vehicle that weve had for 24 hours. I really like the feature set of this auto. The leather appointments are well finished and of extremely high quality. The laser cruise adjust is very nice on the highway. The navi system is accurate and easy to use. The three zone air conditioning works very well. There are almost too many features to discuss. Suffice to say, this is a luxury mini-van if there is such a thing.

  • Good & Bad - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

The van has been great in many areas. GOOD = Easy use of controls for the driver, comfortable seats for long trips, easy to remove rear seats, dual sliding doors. BAD = replaced transmission after 5K miles. Replaced CD player after 10K. Seat belt light stays on even when seat belt is on. Rust on top of car and we garage the van everyday and night. Tires wore out after 20K replaced with better quality Michelin. Overall the van has been good, I would buy another one but get the 6yr warranty.
