Overview & Reviews
Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.
In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

LOREN MOORE REVIEW - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By LOREN MOOORE - August 12 - 10:00 amTHE NON ADJUSTABLE STEERING WHEEL, OTHER THAN TELESCOPING FEATURE IS NOT AS COMFROTABLE AS THE CHRYSLER LIMITED VAN THAT I OWNED PREVIOUSLY. THE NON MEMORY DRIVER SEAT AND MIRRORS IS ALSO A DRAWBACK. THE POWER FROM THE 3.3 ENGINE DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER EXPECTED WHEN DRIVING IN MOUNTIANS OR HILLS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN CRUISE CONTROL--IT CONTINUES TO DOWNSHIFT WHICH MAKES THE RIDE QUITE UNEASY. DEALER HAS NO ANSWER FOR THIS PROBLEM.

Good van - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By chuckb - August 11 - 11:30 amHave had my LE FWD for two and a half years now. The only problems have been a faulty L/S front power window motor, replaced under warranty, and the moulding on the L/S of the second row seat keeps popping off. Looks like there is a screw or pin missing that holds the molding to the seat.

Run flat tires - 2010 Toyota Sienna
By oscar3cat - August 4 - 9:06 pmDo not buy any Toyota with run flat tires. You do not get a spare tire you get a harsh ride and short tire life there is no place to put a spare tire. Replacement run flat tires are very expensive !

A Big Disappointment - 2000 Toyota Sienna
By suz - August 3 - 2:00 amWe have been loyal Toyota buyers, but no more! Our Sienna has been a real disappointment. The engine is holding up well, but the interior and exterior is falling apart. When a penny size toy hit the window while the kids were playing the window shattered to pieces. My five year old was able to rip the handle right off the door while trying to open the door. The air conditioner vents have fallen off. And, the list goes on.

Squeeky - 2000 Toyota Sienna
By stew - August 3 - 2:00 amWe love this van except for the squeeky brakes ,we have taken it back to the dealer numbers of times ,but they say they are OK.The cruise control tends to accelerate to much. Power door is touchy.

A good minivan, but not perfect - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By GDW - July 29 - 10:00 amWeve had the LE-7, #7 for two months. The van is comfortable, large, handles well with a smooth quiet ride, and gets great gas mileage. The split folding rear seats together with the well beneath them (for loose items) are useful. The daytime running lights did not initally work, a shoulder belt retraction mechanism had to be replaced on one of the middle seats, and the gas gauge reads high so that we have almost run out of gas (half gallon left)when there is apparently an eight tank left. The gas warning light did not come on. The lower rear quarter panels are cheap and made out of flexible plastic. Even Toyota has first year production problems.

Fun passing cars when going uphill! - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Colin - July 28 - 10:10 pmWe have had our Sienna for 5 months and we love it. Comfort and performance are excellent. Adult and kid friendly. Never had a van that can so easily pass cars while heading up the hill to Tahoe.

Very Reliable - 2000 Toyota Sienna
By Most Reliable - July 28 - 1:46 pmI have owned this Sienna from day one, and so far w/95000 miles it has lived up to the reputation of Toyota by being the most reliable van I have owned. Have there been problems, sure, but minor: rear brake squeal and sliding power door sensor. Other than routine service, its been a pleasure. Hope to have it another 7 years w/200,000 miles!

The Lexus of minivans - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By markr33 - July 26 - 5:33 amWeve driven our Toyota Sienna for about 10,500 miles so far and find it to be absolutely excellent in almost every respect. The creature comforts are second to none, it is almost silent on the highway and the ride is delightful. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a vehicle with ample space.
