Just OK - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Denise M - January 12 - 12:45 pmTheres a lot of road noise. Too much in my opinion. Rear visibility is poor. Unless I have backseat passengers, I keep the seats folded down. There are a lot of rear blindspots and the backup camera is no help with those. The headrests seem to lean forward, so I removed it. I find the steering wheel to be awkwardly small. I traded in a 2004 Toyota Solara with 210,000 miles. The RAV4 does not even come close to matching that car in comfort or handling. Hopefully it will match in reliability and longevity. Definitely buyers remorse.

Rav vs CRV. - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Jesse Costa - December 31 - 9:06 amAfter 3 months of research, we decided to purchase a 2016 Rav4 XLE. We were also interested in the CRV, but decided against it while on the test drive. Something is just not right with the CVT. We didnt notice it while on the secondary roadways, but once on the highway it felt like the car was being held back. My wife stated that the information cluster indicated the MPGs were 14.5. We inquired with the salesman but he had no idea that Honda had a transmission issue in the CRV. The Rav had no such issues, it drove great has lots of space and looks nice inside. If you are currently driving a v-6, like we were, there is very little difference in performance it was quite a surprise. We are new Toyota owners, but everyone we have talked with just loved theirs. The Toyota Dealership was also willing to negotiate.

However, I drove my car to Palm Springs this week and the seats were so hot, I couldnt sit on them until I put a towel in them. Overall, Im very pleased with this car

2016 RAV 4 LE FWD - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By CFT - October 15 - 9:20 amI have had this car a month today and it just reached 1,000 miles and I am overall very happy with it. The acceleration is great especially since I just traded in a 2005 Toyota highlander with a V6 figuring that I would have some adjustments to make. The interior is overall spacious and comfortable but yet it does feel a bit cheap. The carpet in the floor board and a bit too much plastic looking in the interior. I would imagine over time with a family it may start to look a bit banged up but it is just me so hardly anyone will ever sit in the back seat. The rims are nice and sporting looking but are plastic and I wonder how they will hold up especially since I keep a car for a long time. A bad safety feature is when you put the it in park all doors seem to unlock instead of just drivers door. Over all do recommend for sporty styling and comfortable ride.

Like the RAV4 - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By David Emrich - August 11 - 12:38 pmI was always more of a Honda guy. Had a 1996 Civic Dx coupe manual transmission, am/fm radio, no ac, crank windows for 273,000 miles, 8 years. Liked it. Always wanted an Accord, got 2015 Accord Sport sedan, 6speed manual, liked, techy, slightly cheap plastic. Toyotas are sleepers, in my opinion. Had 2010 Prius III, just after the redesign, 2011 Camry Base, 2014.5 Camry LE. Liked them all, but in a different way than my Hondas. Easy to live with. Prius wasnt fun to drive. Seat angled weird, like you were pointed toward the central gauges, but you body was traveling straight. Weird. Camrys were solid. Comfortable. Easy to live with. This is easy to live with. I like it. I like sitting up high. I have the LE AWD. Came home to find frozen into 2 feet of snow at jfk after having been in southern California, no problem. Rocked it back and forth a couple of times, drove right out. Impressive. Very peaceful. Doesnt rip around, so I drive it slow, and it works for me. Very well balanced in many ways. Fabric on seats in Accord was shiny. Fancy. Like an executives car. This is basic. Perfect balance between comfort, and durability. Doesnt advertise itself, "Hey, look at me!", just gets the job done in a very nice way. Keep it in ECO mode, get advertised milage. Satisfied with MPG. Without ECO button on, takes off a little too quick in first gear, in my opinion. Had 2014 Kia Sportage LX, was a dog in ECO mode. Sporty, and tight handling otherwise. This gets better feel economy, and feels more satisfying, overall. The Kia felt less satisfying to drive with time. This got better with time. Toyotas reliable, too, good to do business with. I got a great lease deal. Paid out of some negative equity I had after trading a lot of vehicles in a short time. This allows me to pay that off, plus lease the vehicle, get a fresh start at the end of the lease. Surprised Toyota would offer it. Recommended.

Car feels Cheap. - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Jimmy S - June 28 - 3:08 amDont be fool by the look of this 2016 rav4. Car feels very cheap. Try closing and opening the door several times, changing volume knobs, temperature knobs, and adjusting the air vents , you will know they put a lot cheap materials in this car. Car makes loud noise when shifting from P to D. It also makes weird noise in the back of the car after I stop the car completely.

Ride in Confidence - 2016 Toyota RAV4

Its one of the best cars I have ever owned...and I have owed a few but I am sold on Toyotas ability to image and to have captured what drivers want in a small SUV. The safety features which are standard, the design, ride, comfort and style is excellent. Toyota has built a car for me and my family; and I believe it will not be the only Toyota I will buy. Its an excellent car and provides me with a peace of mind. Thank you Toyota...keep producing quality cars, at reasonable prices!

Great car - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Maggie - March 3 - 2:38 amI love this car, great ride, quality interior, great stereo and navigation. I am loving the safety features; backup monitor, cross traffic warning, blind spot monitoring. My only complaint is the terrible rear view visibility!
