Overview & Reviews
The 2003 Toyota Prius, a hybrid-electric vehicle, is unchanged.
- Marathon fuel efficiency, roomy and comfortable interior.
- Quirky looks, no standard CD player, no fold-down rear seat, more expensive than most other frugal economy sedans.

Super Duper Prius - 2003 Toyota Prius
By Ivan Urbina - November 27 - 10:00 amThe performance of Prius is great! I would say that this is a radical type of car. The instruments are like futuristic. The monitor display gives you information of average mile/gallons, the battery energy storage and many other stuff. (I kick my self for not purchasing the model with a mapping device) The design is sleek and aerodynmanic. I found very confortable on the ride even on bumpy road. The GAS MILEAGE consumption is super duper great!!! The inside four people sits confortable. The fifth person would have to be skinny. But all in all, this car is great for transportation and saves on gas!!!

What a great car - 2003 Toyota Prius
By PriusONE - October 7 - 2:00 amI was a little hesitant to buy before the technology was proven, but once I drove the Prius I was sold. Its a great little car that feel much bigger when your driving. I live in the city and the turning radius to grab a parking spot is amazing.

A Terrific, Fun, and Responsible Car - 2003 Toyota Prius
By mgenito - October 3 - 2:00 amI have driven my new Prius over 5,000 miles and have loved every minute of it. It is a terrific answer to those seeking to drive a more environmentally responsible car, without sacrificing the look, feel, and maintenance of a more traditionally powered car. It not only significantly reduces air and water pollution, but noise pollution as well wehn it slips into electric mode.

Technology that works-and its fun - 2003 Toyota Prius
By rmstrauber - August 20 - 2:00 amI bought the Prius because I believe that it is the best technology available at this time to promote environmental resposnsibility and reduce our dependence on oil. The first 3000 miles included a 1000 mile trip to Fla. on interstates at 70 mph and 2000 miles of local driving in an urban setting. The car lives up to all expectations, it is comfortable and fun to drive.

Toyota Prius for 63 Male Usage - 2003 Toyota Prius
By M. Connor - August 10 - 10:00 amMy wife and I moved from the Philadelphia area to rural northern Berks to enjoy the green beauty. We have recycled and buy electricity from Green Mountain Electric that operates the Wind Generation Plant in central PA. This car is the answer to our prayers for an ecologically sensible and user friendly car. At 46 to 50 miles per gallon it is a joy to operate. My wife ran out of gas last week and drove to the gas station using the battery, no other can can do that. It has great pickup and high speed driving response and very short turning radius. Great car and is comfortable for my family of five.

Great car - 2003 Toyota Prius
By Daniel McCoy - July 4 - 10:00 amThis has been a great car for commuting 44 miles round trip to work; but I was surprised that it performed so well on trips to the mountains and up and down the west coast. Amazingly roomy for such a small car. I have no qualms recommending this car to anyone.

Love the Prius - 2003 Toyota Prius
By thyde - May 4 - 2:00 amI went from a Ford Expedition getting 11 mpg to the Prius and am saving over $100/mo in gas. Pickup is surprising (its no sports car, but for what it is, it moves better than you might imagine.) Has excellent standard features and the Toyota reliability.
