Want air conditioning, power windows/locks/mirrors and variable intermittent wipers on the CE? Buy the Value Package. To get remote keyless entry or a power driver seat on the LE, you must buy a Value Package. A power moonroof and an in-dash six-disc CD changer require the Leather Value Package on XLE models. LE V6 models get daytime running lights standard, while JBL audio is optional on all LEs. The anti-theft system with engine immobilizer is restricted to XLE V6 models.
- Toyota reliability, incredibly powerful and refined optional V6, excellent resale value.
- High prices, uncomfortable seats, forgettable styling.

2001 Toyota Camry - 2001 Toyota Camry
By jenny541 - August 17 - 5:10 pmI have loved my Toyota Camry! It drives super smooth and the V6 engine is awesome. Besides being a safe car, it feels safe. It handles curves well, stops quickly and Ive never lost control of it. Even in the snow, it has only fish-tailed once!

Can a Mercedes owner really like a Toyota - 2001 Toyota Camry
By camry 300TD - March 13 - 12:40 pmDaily commute 100 miles times 23 years. It has take four used 79-83 Mercedes diesels to get me this far. (However saving one seems only prudent.) Bought the 01 used 36600 miles. Although the Camry doesnt give you the feel of the heavy Mercedes, its ride is acceptable. The Camry takes less maintenance so far than the over engineered Mercedes. The 4 cylinder does fine, very smooth.

Mr. Dependable - 2001 Toyota Camry
By Dr. Q - February 15 - 10:00 amThis has been a GREAT all around car for us. We have had it for about 18 months and have had nothing but good things to say. The Camry is spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We have a 2 year old and one more on the way, and we have no problems with fitting car seats in the back.

2001 camry LE V6 Gallery Series - 2001 Toyota Camry
By Danny Dale - December 30 - 10:50 pmI purchased this car from a friend who wanted a 2008 model. It is in excellent shape in all areas. I also like the two tone paint and the other upgrades that went with the Gallery Series. It had 162000 miles on it, but looks like new. I did put new tires on and brake pads and new belts, only because I wanted to start off with them on it. It had been taken care of in all areas. Besides changing the oil on date of purchase, I had the radiator flushed. I only paid $5000.00 for it, and am extremely happy. I have 164000 on it now. My last car was a Cadillac Seville and it had 378000 miles when I gave it up. All my mileage is highway travel. I baby my cars to go as long as possible.

You cant go wrong!! - 2001 Toyota Camry
By Runner 3604 - November 4 - 2:00 amThis car has been flawless in its function and design. It has run great since day one. The only services performed to date are an alignment, the 30K service and routine LOF and tire rotation. The dealer has been excellent both in the buying process and service. I hope to have this car into the 100k range. I believe that the secret to keeping these cars in top shape is to follow the service guides faithfully.

Camry - 2001 Toyota Camry
By Elena DeLucia - September 30 - 11:20 amMy seventh Toyota and it is a pleasure. I still have my 87 Camry wagon and it is in great shape as well. Reliable, reliable, reliable and hold their value well. Once I had a fancy expensive sports car, I dont need to look pretty while I wait for the tow truck in the hot Arizona sun. Six Toyotas and not a single complaint on any of them and I have never been left on the side of the road by any of them.

Great car. - 2001 Toyota Camry
By kharris - June 9 - 2:00 amHas 16K miles. Has a rattle by the ashtray. Had the dealership look at it. Tech heard rattle but unsuccesful at repair. Now have a squeek in the passenger side seat. If passenger shifts weight you get a annoying squeek. Will take and let dealership repair both problems. Average about 32 miles a gallon. Drive 80 miles a day, all highway (65 to 70 mph). Car is quiet (except squeek and rattle). Had to replace speaker cover on passenger side door (think child may have broke, but not sure). Wish I had bought V-6, but wanted fuel economy.
