Air conditioner problem already - 2007 Toyota Camry
By tom altermatt - May 29 - 12:56 amAt 48,000 miles the AC failed bad condenser. should have lasted much longer and it is expensive to replace, warranty period is over, I am extremely disappointed and i will never buy another Toyota

Easy To Drive - 2007 Toyota Camry
By Stacey - May 21 - 7:20 pmThis car is easy to drive, extremely comfortable and a beauty. My only complaint is that it eats up the gas on the city mileage. Tight steering which makes it easy to drive. The best car Ive had so far. I hope to keep it for another 5 years.

Side air bags? - 2007 Toyota Camry
By lucky to be alive - May 19 - 7:53 amI purchased this vehicle in july of 2006, i only had it for a bout a month when a drunk driver hit me on the side. When i purchased the car i was told all about the side curtain air bags and about the air bags for the drivers knees. and wouldnt you know i get hit on the side and NOT a single air bag deployed. I look on the internet and find that there was a recall in april about the air bags and i was not told of this when i purchased the car. Look for recalls before buying. Im just glad me and my husband are still alive. can furnish pictures of damages upon request so you can see how toyota stands up

Great Work Vehicle. - 2007 Toyota Camry
By m-b-g - May 18 - 3:23 amAfter driving a VW Jetta for the past 4 years, this car has been a pleasant surprise. It is quiet, fuel effecient (for a car its size), & it has all the safety features I wanted. It is not as nimble as the Jetta, however I bought this car to work from, and has much more space than my Jetta did. I am a salesman and 95% of my driving is in the city 24 mpg on first tank. This car has enough clearance to not have problems with the cement parking lot stops & curbs. This car is an excellent value!

Wish I hadnt bought it - 2007 Toyota Camry
By VerySorry - May 13 - 6:23 amThis car looks great and the build quality is good. It is relatively comfortable inside. But it has a severe hesitation problem on acceleration and my Toyota dealer wont acknowledge it or do anything about it. And Ive never gotten close to the EPA estimated MPG - the first time I can say that for any car Ive owned. Its rated for 34 on the highway and the best Ive ever gotten is about 29. Unacceptable for a car thats as much of a dog as this one. I get better mileage with my BMW 325i. Though this car will last many years, Im suffering from serious buyers remorse.

Perry Como - 2007 Toyota Camry
By Arnold - May 11 - 6:30 amThe car is slow as a slug when starting out. I have had 4 cylinder Grand AMs with 40 less horsepower that accelerated better than this car. I took the car back for the service bulletin fix but the recalibration of the computer did not help the acceleration problem. If you slow down then give it the gas it takes a second to respond. I have almost been rear ended on two occasions this month. I really wanted to love the car but I am merely satisfied with it because of this problem. This car replaced my 2001 Ford Taurus that had only 8 more hp, but it felt like it was an Indy car compared to Perry Como the nickname for my Camry - smooth but slow.

Great car with Options - 2007 Toyota Camry
By jnealy87 - May 9 - 6:35 pmI previously left my review back in 2012 and now its 2015 and its been better and I had the transmission serviced and now have no issues with the car at all im at 98000 miles and its running strong and the build quality has improved and looks a lot better now that the recalls on dashboard has been done and it fixed a lot of mismatches with the pillars and things and now my car is fully cleaned and detailed and its great to have a car that I trust on the road my car does not burn any oil and thats with me changing the oil every 3000 miles and I havent missed a oil change and I get 28 to 30 hwy and city I get 25.8 so I havent gotten 31 mpg yet and I drive the car once a week straight hwy ....

By Charles Anglin - May 8 - 6:00 amI have been driving Toyota Camry for several several years and traded a 2003 Camry. I immediately starting noticing transmission surge during 2nd and 3rd gear during first few minutes of driving. Service dept. ignored any knowledge of this problem until about 6 months ago. They finally had me bring it in for a computer update regarding the shifting, which cleared the problem for the most part. Still does some surging at times. Radio display went out several times before radio was replaced. Rattles inside. Rear bumper popped out on left side, I just popped it back into place. Disappointed in interior and exterior quality. 30,000 miles on it now and disappointed.

By Elizabeth - May 7 - 9:10 amMy 2007 Camry rocks!!! Acceleration, braking, pickup, everything about the car is awesome! The car absolutely wants to fly. I had a 99 Camry before; it was great also, but the upgrades on this one are wonderful. Its quieter, faster, great fuel efficiency, more standard options, more room, the stereo is great. I just cant say enough about it.
