This Year's Model Updates:

Toyota's perennially best-selling family sedan gets a complete makeover for 2007. Among the highlights are a roomier interior, additional luxury-oriented features, an available 268-hp V6 coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission, and a gasoline-electric hybrid model that earns EPA fuel economy estimates of 43 mpg city/37 mpg highway.

Pros:
  • Roomy cabin, powerful V6 engine, hybrid model available, legendary build quality and reliability history.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available with V6, some odd styling elements.

An excellent car for any age. More power, and excitement than the last generation Camry. No comparison with the competition. Toyota has out done themselves this time.

Great car over all. I have 4 cyl with manual transmission - lack of power but great fuel economy.

Have 22,000 miles on car. Power is great, transmission shifts are smooth and accurate. Gas mileage is 28 mpg on combined and 32 when we were on trip of 100 miles. Had some rattles on dash speaker covers which dealer fixed completely. Tires look almost new at 22,000 miles. Very comfortable car. I am 55 and have owned about 25 new cars. This is one of the nicest and trouble free vehicles I have owned. I highly recommend this vehicle.

  • Never again - 2007 Toyota Camry

I purchased my car based on having owned two other Toyotas in the past. I so regret buying this car. I should have waited and purchased an Acura. There is something seriously wrong with the transmission; it does not want to change and this is getting worse. Believe it or not my sun visor is broken on the driver side. Whoever heard of a sun visor breaking. Anyway whatever keeps it up, the spring, etc is broken, you can run your hand across the top and see that it has popped open. Of course I can get it fixed for about $200 at the dealer. I have a 2000 Camry and it is better than this one. Oh did I mention that the carpet I had replaced now has another hole in it. Never Again!

  • Take time and compare... - 2007 Toyota Camry

LE w/ 4 cylinder is equipped with adequate power plant. Handling and cornering slightly improved from 2003-6 model. Transmission shifting (hunting for a right gear) not much improved - especially on even small incline. With my 6 it is no way to get acceptable visibility looking backward, and what is worse than 2003-6 models, I cant see front of the sedan too. So parking in busy places may be tricky. In my feeling driver was stripped from elbow space due to oversized center storage compartment. I am not to impressed with all the controls made of cheap plastic formed in unattractive way. Trunk space is noticeably smaller too.

Maybe its reliable, maybe the 2006-07 redesign is good. But I hate the drive, its atrocious. The windnoise is extreme, so not like a Camry. The 4 cylinder is a shame. The size of the car increased and the hp remained the same. Dont know about V6 but the I4 is not for real drivers.

  • Great little applicence - 2007 Toyota Camry

Bam, bam, Toyota kicked it up a notch. Love the car with only 2 areas that we noticed. Torque steer under full throttle with down shift and the seats were a little hard but seem to breaking in. It has not dropped below 28 mpg with some heavy footed driving.

  • GREAT CAR!!!! - 2007 Toyota Camry

Just purchased a used 2007 Camry. I really believe that most of these negative reviews are lies on this site. My car is smooth and well built and drives like a dream. I am very happy with the first 1000 miles.
