Have had problems - 2003 Toyota Camry
By modesfox - February 3 - 5:10 amThis is my first Toyota - and probably last. For the price premium Ive not received the reliability I looked forward to having. Case in point: At 71,400 miles the a/c quit working, the first ever a/c problem Ive had on any car Ive owned before 100,000 miles! My service tech said I "had to take it to the dealer". (Thanks again, Toyota!) The dealer said the a/c compressor AND clutch needed replacing, for $1300+ for a rebuilt unit no less, not a new part. That, and $35 to lubricate a "squawking" steering column rubber piece. The ride and comfort is great, but Im afraid of too many repairs in the future. I feel so stupid - buy a 100,000 mile warranty like with any other car!

Amazing quality and value - 2003 Toyota Camry
By DARKPOOL - January 3 - 10:00 amThis is our sixth Toyota and, without doubt, the best yet. Everything about the car is excellent. We tried the new Nissan and the Honda Accord but the XLE Camry beat them both. We paid $21,000 exactly for the car with the moonroof option. This price included all taxes and registration.

Pleasant, comfortable & reliable - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Dick - December 25 - 10:16 pmI got into the car at the dealership and it was the most comfortable of all the cars I was considering. Performance was fine and the car has been reliable requiring only regular maintainance except for a battery replacement. It has been a car that is easy to use in city and great on the road usually delivering 30-32 miles per gallon country and 17 -19 city.

What youd expect from a Camry and more - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Louis R - November 27 - 2:00 amJust purchased a new 2003 Camry LE, and let me tell you it lives up to its Toyota title. Upon test driving it, the acceleration and braking is very responsive. Steering and cornering are perfect at low and high speeds. The engine is great, as you cannot tell from the interior whether or not you have already ignited the engine. The interior features are just as rewarding. With the Conv. Package, gives you the added power seats, and 8 speakers sterio system. Its an excellent buy that you can count on.

Solid Begining - 2003 Toyota Camry
By NEW2CAMRY - November 21 - 2:00 amAfter considering the Honda Accord, and the Nissan Altima, I chose the Camry. Everything about the Camry makes a firm statement of quality. If you want flash and power, go with the Altima. If you want a fun, sporty drive, pick the Accord. If, however, you want a quiet ride, smooth handling, and overall design excellence approaching higher priced luxury models, the Camry is your car.

Paint Job and Thigh Support / Engine - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Artie - November 4 - 2:00 amI feel that my legs are half way on the seat and the other half on mid air! Im 510 195 lbs. dads 98 Ford Taurus SE is just as fast Im wondering if the 2003 5-speed automatic transmission is quicker than the 4? Bad paint job/or defective. I have toyoguard double clearcoat sealant, and its chipping off from the hood and on smaller areas around the vehicle. What a bummer! DONT BUY BLACK!!!

Should have done it sooner... - 2003 Toyota Camry
By Steve123 - October 10 - 2:00 amI went and test drove both a v6 LE and a v6 XLE. Even though (both on line and at the dealer) the price difference was ~1500, its a world of difference. If I was reviewing an LE, I would not rate it as high. The XLE has an awsome Lexus like ride. Controls are where they need to be and are easily reached. My wife absolutly loves the car. She was a bit skeptical at first though. Anyone considering a Camry should test drive an XLE first, then try the LE. Youll be glad you did
