Excellent road feel, comfort and interior room. Ergonomic and intelligent design and a very large trunk.

Great deal for a great car from dealer in central NJ. Quiet ride even at highway speed, wonderful JBL audio w/6 disc changer, comfortable leather seats. Wood trim on dash, leather wrapped steering wheel, leather seats w/heated front seats, power driver/pass. seats. Power Moonroof, ABS, largest trunk in its class (all mid-size sedans incl. luxury).

I had this car for 3 years and drive to work 70 miles a day. All that has been done is oil changes and general maintenance. I have had no breakdowns. Just check the brake linings again, 1/3 of pad left at 100,000 miles (original pads). Never had this happen with any car. Car runs as it did when new. No rattles.

Toyota dependability and comfortable roominess. Replacement Camary with a sportier look and feel. Handles great and looks great. At first glance most people think its a Lexus.

  • 03 V6 XLE great car, but.......... - 2003 Toyota Camry

I recently purchased a 2003 XLE with the 210 V6 VVTi engine, equipped with the 5 speed transmission. The transmission is becoming a disappointment. I have noticed it has a problem downshifting from 5th into 3rd for passing. The transmission hesitates before a lower gear engages, then shifts into gear with a degree of roughness. There is a concern when immediate response is needed. Many owners of the Lexus ES300 have experienced the same problem, with the 5speed transmission [the Lexus and Camry share much of the same mechanical underpinnings] Lexus is aware of the problem, lets hope Toyota is in the loop and aware of the problem.

  • Great, but flawed. - 2003 Toyota Camry

There is a intermittent noise in the dash. The Car has 20 more horsepower than the Mercury Sable it replaced, however seems to have less performance. Rear vision is poor with the spoiler. Love the spoiler, cant see over it.The brake pedal is mushy, but brakes are good. The exhaust pipe hangs down six to ten inches on every Camry I have seen. Looks very Tacky. I no longer have to look at Camrys and rebadged Camrys (Lexus) to identify them. I just look for the exhaust pipe hanging down under the rear axle.

Great running vehicle - very smooth riding and lots of power. Mileage is very good but expected maybe a few more miles to the gallon.

  • Excellent Highway Cruiser - 2003 Toyota Camry

I have the LE V6. The engine is super smooth, quiet, and powerful. Camry rides very well for its price range, and is very comfortable. More more comfortable and better riding than Honda Accord and Nissan Maxima. Handling is average (soft suspension keeps it from handling super well). Since comfort is more important than performance, I dont mind the so-so handling. Interior fit and finish is good, exterior fit and finish is good. Nice looking body. A great car for long highway trips. The softer than average ride is very comfortable, even on less than ideal roads. With cruise control, it will maintain a comfortable 70 MPH in style. Overall, I love this car and feel its a great buy.
