This is my third Camry...I have always loved Toyotas but this Camry is the best ride.

  • Great Car - 2003 Toyota Camry

Toyota has put a lot of thought in this vehicle. Quiet, clean smooth riding with a great sound system.

  • Very nice family sedan - 2003 Toyota Camry

Its been 2 weeks and so far so good. The SE doesnt absorb the bumps quite as nice as the LE and XLE, but you trade that off for the sport suspension. My biggest beef is the passenger seat is not as comfortable as others (Altima, Accord, Taurus, Maxima).

The 2003 Camry XLE has exceeded my expectations for the first four months of ownership. The quality of ride, quiteness, mileage economy, trim, and safety features makes this vehicle a great value for the price. The only recommendation that I can offer is improvement in side view mirrors, ie seeing the parking or road lines along side, especially when backing the vehicle.

  • I Love My Camry - 2003 Toyota Camry

After quite a bit of hunting & test driving, I chose a Camry as my next new car. The ride was nicer than the Altima or the Mazda 6. It was more comfortable than the Passat and the Accord. With the upscale interior and standard features, its hard to believe I only spent 17500. The trunk is gigantic, perfect for luggage & groceries. The interior layout is nicely designed & the engine is quiet. For a more sporty look, I opted for the model with the rear spoiler. Its definately a family car, but the spoiler adds a bit of punch to an already beautiful exterior. I also test drove a few domestic mid-sized sedans and there was simply no comparison.

  • Extremely unhappy Camry owner - 2003 Toyota Camry

The transmission has slow response time and when slowing and gearing down the car actually lunges, the vehicle has long braking time and is very unresponsive until pedal is pressed nearly to floor and road handling and tire grip is poor. Steering wheel position is high and seats are not deep enough for comfortable ride. Lumbar on passenger seat is uncomfortable. Window and rear door posts make side viewing difficult because of width. Trunk and gas door latches are difficult to access when seat is forward for person of shorter stature. Cruise control lever and buttons are awkward and not user friendly. Center console height is too low for comfortable elbow rest during long drives.

Rides beautifully and its very quiet. Dealers at this place lead a lot to be desired, however. Dont let them stand in the way of buying this car.

  • I like it! - 2003 Toyota Camry

Wanted only leather and V-6, got it and very satisfied. The ride closely resembled that of my Benz, and is very comfortable. Not as stiff as nearest competitor. V-6 power gives me quick Interstate access in traffic. Gas mileage is as advertised, but I travel in excess of speed limit often. Leans in tight corners, and turns on a quarter rather than a dime. Overall, I like my Camry and think it will last a long time past the 72,000 miles I have now. No trouble; I dont know why I bought the extended warranty. Peace of mind I guess.

Our 2003 Camry, that we purchased new, has been a great car. It only has 20,000 miles on it but we have not had a single issue with it. It still drives and handles like brand new. I replaced the tires just because they were 9 years old. The only other part that we replaced is the battery in 2008. I like the Camry so much that I just purchased a new Toyota Tacoma.

  • woot woot!!! - 2003 Toyota Camry

overall its a pretty good car. a problem in the camry was that whenever i accelerated or lowered the speed, there are small jerks. the transmission isnt as smooth as my 1987 Volvo 240 DL. the brake discs grooves were too deep after a month of use, signifying the deteriorating quality of it as you use the car. Star Toyota in NYC stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
