This Year's Model Updates:

Toyota's perennially best-selling family sedan gets a complete makeover for 2007. Among the highlights are a roomier interior, additional luxury-oriented features, an available 268-hp V6 coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission, and a gasoline-electric hybrid model that earns EPA fuel economy estimates of 43 mpg city/37 mpg highway.

Pros:
  • Roomy cabin, powerful V6 engine, hybrid model available, legendary build quality and reliability history.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available with V6, some odd styling elements.

  • Great vehicle - 2007 Toyota Camry

My first Toyota after many years with GM. Have had car for only 8 weeks, but absolutely no complaints. People stop and stare at car constantly. Bluetooth and JBL are great. Feels expensive, yet comfortable with larger interior than my Grand Prix. Makes me a better driver. No transmission problems, reacts instantaneously. Exceptional car.

I just picked up a 2007 Camry SE V6 and I have to say I am more than happy with it. I test drove the competition. I decided on the Camry because of the value and gas mileage. Overall, its probably the best car in its class and strives for the next class up.

We just purchased this car a week ago. Im so in love with it that Im up early in the mornings, thinking about errands that I need to run. It rides smooth and has enough of pick-up to get out of the way of fast moving traffic. Im thinking about racing my son who owns a GSXR 600 motorcycle, but hes only 19 so I think I will pass. Im a mother of 3 in love with my RED Camry. Just wish I could program it to say my name when you turn on the engine.Wouldnt that be icing on the cake!

I am very happy with the 2007 Camry XLE. It performs well, is stylish, and has quite a few upscale features for the money. It is an excellent value. Well done, Toyota!

I have driven Camrys for 20+ years. My 07 Camry LE V6 is clearly superior to any prior Camry. While the 03 was roomy and comfortable, the steering and handling were very vague. The 07 tightens the ride and improves the steering noticably. The interior is upgraded markedly, and although there is a bit less headroom, the added telescoping feature of the steering wheel combined with the greater travel of the seat (which is even more comfortable than the 03s) yields greater comfort. The engine is smooth, quiet and powerful. The transmission is seamless and, with six forward gears, the engine is virtually never strained in ordinary driving. I like the exterior styling (see in darker colors).

Hard to find with manual trans but worth the wait. Cant beat the room, gas mileage and performance for dollar.

Great drive, easy controls, well designed. One improvement, the seats while comfortable could be upgraded to provide more support.

This is our fifth toyota camry in the past fourteen years. Each years model got better than the previous one. This 2007 is the epitome of the Toyotas quality.

  • My favorite car! - 2007 Toyota Camry

This is my third Camry (1996, 2002 and 2007) after owning a Honda Accord in 1989. Every time I go to buy a car I go back to look at the Honda but once I drive the Camry Im sold. By far this is the best Camry Ive ever owned. Its more fun to drive than any car Ive driven. It holds the road and when you press on the accelerator it accelerates smoothly and very quickly. It gets up and moves! Even my boyfriend loves this car! The handling is amazing and its quiet. I love the bluetooth wireless phone. You wont regret buying this car.

After 64K miles, and despite a rear- wheel bearing that went out at 37K miles ($450), I can say with confidence Id buy this car again. Its extremely comfortable, gets great gas mileage, has plenty of power (V6) and most importantly, its extremely reliable. Im not crazy about the cloth door armrests, but the interior has held up extremely well and still looks new. Best of all, if I get stopped for speeding, I can always claim it was a stuck accelerator!
