At first I must admit that i wasnt too fond of this car since it was more popular to have a small sport compact cars. But i am glad that i did stick with the Camry. The cabin space is unbelievable and the trunk space is great! I love the handling and braking.

I lvoe my Camry. I have had probs with it, but that lies with teh dealership, Toyota 101. But the car is excellent. I like how it has 8 speakers, especially the ones on the top dashboard. Music quality is good with JBL. Overall this is a great car. It smoother than my other car, a 840ci BMW. This is a great car. I love it and would recommend it. The new design is a lot better than the old 2001 version. Rides like a luxary car and cant be any better. Truely the best camry yet!

  • Good family car - 2003 Toyota Camry

For the price, you cant beat the ride. Taken the car to its limit (about 120, really) and it was as if I was going 70. The handling isnt sporty, but its still precise and very predictable. I dont find that it floats (like a new Buick I recently drove), maybe just too isolated from the road. LE came with horrible Continental tires, which screamed around any turn. Got Michelins and the Camry cornered far better. Had some issues just recently with repairs. At over 95,000 miles, all the engine mounts had to be replaced. Big dollars. But recently had the tires balanced and rotated as well the alignment redone. Car rides great again. A great used car if thats what you are looking for.

  • Best Car Ever! - 2003 Toyota Camry

We have absolutely no complaints about this car. This was the family car, until my oldest child was old enough to drive to school. Thats when I handed it down to him. Its now on its second teen driver, and still going strong. In October, itll be handed down to the 3rd. We were rear ended two years ago HARD in the rain, and the car did exactly what the crash tests tell you its gonna do - protect the passengers. Over 220,000 miles, and all weve really done (besides wreck repair) is put tires on it, replace a bulb every now and then, changed the oil until this week, when we needed to replace the valve cover gasket... at 220,000+ miles. I dont think thats a bad deal at all! Leg room is awesome... weve driven it on several long road trips with my son, who is well over 6 tall and an additional three 5.5-ish tall passengers plus our luggage with no problem. The trunk is a cavernous space, much bigger than you might expect. We get a couple of snow storms a year here, and this is our go-to car when we have to leave the house. The car handles great in the snow with no extra equipment/chains required. The stereo system is awesome, and we dont have anything special in there. If I had to pick a car for a family, or a first time driver, Id pick this one again every time.

The Best car I have ever driven. Very smooth and silent. Good family car. The new model (2002/2003) is spacious.

  • Fun to drive - 2003 Toyota Camry

bought with 100,000 miles, very clean car, few months later front rotors went bad, was told this was last time they could be turned, few months later, a top motor mount, now the transmossion mount, $ 114 just for the part , backs struts are having thumping noise issues going over bumps very slowly, rack and pinion boot is shredded for some reason, headliner is starting to come loose in the back, the car has been well taken care of before and during the year and half I have owned it. Interior is great, fantastic console, very comfortable, mine has 8 airbags, so i have the extra safety feeling on the road, not sure if i should keep fixing things or trade it off? fun to drive, great on gas

  • Six Months Out - 2003 Toyota Camry

Waited 6 months to provide feedback on my new Camry so as to give a balanced appraisal. Without a doubt there have been No problems, No suprises. This is a solid, reliable and quiet "appliance". This is my second Camry (bought a used 97 a year ago and liked it so much I bought a new Camry). I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good car that will go the distance.

  • Love My 2003 Camry SE - 2003 Toyota Camry

I have owned the car from 2003 until 2009. I have put about 80000 miles on the car. It is fun to drive and can boogey after an initial realization pause. The only complaint I have is that the tires and suspension are a bit of a worry because it causes the steering column to shake if tires arent perfectly inflated and the weight on the axles isnt great; itll cause you to almost wreck. The car also has a very loose suspension, causing it to "scratch." Most of the time I felt very safe in my Camry... when it was being stubborn, possibly due to a bad mechanic at the dealership.

  • DESPISE MY CAMRY - 2003 Toyota Camry

1st day I drove it home I felt alignment problem. After 6 visits, no fix. 4th set of front tires. Toyota reps were RUDE and told me to turn up radio & ignore pulling!! Cust. svc. was NO help. Went to arbitration, waste of time. Rain pours in if window opened a crack. ABS kicks in ALL the time. Seatbelt locks up when I stretch to look for cars coming.Cant see cars coming when I turn my head. Chips EASY. I am more than disappointed. I thought Toyota had an excellent rep., and Ive been ONLY disgusted with dealership, customer service, and still having alignment problem!

  • Jack of all trades... - 2003 Toyota Camry

This car does a lot of things very well. Its stylish, roomy and has an impressive list of standard features for a base model. The ride is very comfortable, but not particularly involving. Ive owned several Hondas and considered the Accord, but felt that the interior material quality was inferior for Honda and the styling was bland. It was, however, more fun to drive than the Camry, especially in a V- 6. Also consdered the BMW 325i which was too small to be practical for 4-5 adults. All things considered, Im happy with they Camry, but the BMW will be at the top of my list next time around
