By Treasurehunter - March 12 - 10:00 amNothin spectacular about the Camry, but an overall best buy. Reliability being its greatest attribute, its also easy and inexpensive to maintain. My 92 Camry has never let me down, even though I havent always been on top of the maintenance of the vehicle. The build and quality are good all-around, but its the grit and workhorse characteristic of the vehicle that makes it a great car. You simply cant lose with a Toyota!

By mercer - December 19 - 7:46 amI purchased my 92 camry used, with 130000 miles. I used it for 2 and a half years for work. driving an estimated 60000 miles a year. I had no problems other than an emission coil needing replaced. other than that it has been well worth money spent. and money earned from this work horse.

247,000 and still going - 1992 Toyota Camry
By donk - September 28 - 2:00 amAbsolutely best car ever owned. Bought used in 1994 with 44,000 miles on it. My four cylinder now has 247,000 miles and is still going. Still have original exhaust! No major repairs whatsoever. The body looks like new - no rust. The four cylinder is peppy. Great gas mileage and large gas tank.

A great car - 1992 Toyota Camry
By schmidbo - February 10 - 10:00 amIm headed to 200,000 miles with the XLE. Usual stuff has been replaced (brakes, timing belt, radiator etc) and the car just keeps on going. A great smooth ride.

I HAD BOTH DRIVE AXLES REPLACED, BOTH OIL SEALS, A TIMING BELT, A WATER PUMP AND ALL OF THE BRAKES WERE REPLACED. THE CAR IS TEN YEARS OLD AND DESPITE THESE THINGS, THE CAR HAS BEEN RELIABLE OVERALL.
