Overview & Reviews
New last year, the Vue gets only minor changes for 2003. V6 models are now available with front-wheel drive, while a new options package bundles together heated leather seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A new optional audio system includes a subwoofer, 180-watt amplifier and six door-mounted speakers.
- Large doors ease entry/exit, extensive choice of drivetrains, spacious cabin, excellent crash test scores.
- Bland interior, low-grade plastics, noisy four-cylinder, vague steering.

Would buy this car again - 2003 Saturn VUE
By Leigh - November 11 - 10:26 pmI bought this car used in 2005 and have had absolutely no problems with it, Ive only had to replace the tires, brakes and oil. I have had none of the problems that have been explained here. The car was totaled about a month ago and I would have bought another one except for the fact that Saturn has gone out of business. This was my second Saturn and hate that I cannot buy another one.

Was Great! - 2003 Saturn VUE
By rolo - November 3 - 1:13 amWe purchased this vehicle brand new and have had it for 6 years. It has always been a very reliable vehicle but when there has been an issue and something need to get fixed it has always been a very expensive repair. For example rotors, brakes, the 100,000 mile tune up, but now we have had 2 repairs in the last month the first cost $1,200 and the second one is $2,500, both have been engine problems. So now we are going to say good-bye to our Saturn.

Good SUV to buy - 2003 Saturn VUE
By Odyssey - October 21 - 10:00 amIve had my Vue for almost a year now and it has had no engine or transmission problems. The truck is very economical for long extended road trips and requires very little maintenance. The VTI transmission definetly works best when combined with cruise control. Interior is very roomy and rear cup holder console is useful. The truck is easy to drive on the street, dependable and confortable. The traction control system is helpful on dirt roads. I recommend the truck to those who are looking for low maitenance, good gas milage and a compact designed that fits well in small parking areas. Good dealer service. The Vue is definetly not a sportscar.

VUE = Great ValUE - 2003 Saturn VUE
By VUE Pilot - August 31 - 2:00 amIve had my VUE for 2 months and have driven almost 7000 already without any problems. Avg fuel economy has been just under 25mpg. On a recent 3500 mile road trip the seats proved comfortable to my 6 foot 200 pound build. Very impressed with the car like ride!!

alshoe review of the VUE - 2003 Saturn VUE
By alshoe - July 3 - 10:00 amJust purchased the VUE a couple of weeks ago. Own a 2002, L300 for a year and love it. Took a 200 mile trip in the VUE and really enjoyed it. Many SUVs ride like a truck. The VUE rides and handles more like a car. The V6, 5 speed auto trans is very responsive and is a quieter and softer ride than the L300. Vehicle is practical for our family needs in hauling people and/or cargo. Have not had the opportunity to test the AWD feature.

Not the best - 2003 Saturn VUE
By Astrid - June 17 - 12:30 pmI brought this car five years ago and it was the bes the best until I had some problems. The car was mixing fuel, coolant, and grease together and making the engine overheat. The horn stop working and so did the CD player.

First week with the Vue - 2003 Saturn VUE
By JSK - June 13 - 10:00 amWith the 5 speed manual transmission, the four cylinder engine is surprisingly zippy! The handling is very clean and confident. At last I have adequate leg room in a vehicle that gets around 30mpg. My over all impression is of a very tough, smooth running vehicle that gives me a great sense of safety, comfort and surprisingly good performance. The 5 speed manual is perfectly matched to the engine and body. If you can drive a standard, this is the best balanced combination of power, performance and quiet comfort. I love this car!

unusal - 2003 Saturn VUE
By tmjdragon - April 29 - 12:40 pmIve had this Vue since 2005 My mother in law owned before me and she too had to take it in alot. But since Ive had it I have not had to take it in, but Ive had a few problems of my own. the wheel bearing went out 3 times (the rear) and I replaced it my self but recieved the wrong part but it still works. the transmission well it is tempermental it likes to stutter then it goes of course saturn mech says they all do that so Ive been dealing with that since 2007. Its not a bad car and my wife has put that corn fuel in it, seems to run alright with it even though saturn says dont cause it wont run with it
