For 2006, the Saturn Vue gets a revised interior with a new center stack, center console, door panels and seat fabric. Outside, the front and rear fascias have been redesigned. Steering wheel-mounted audio controls are now standard, along with OnStar, power windows and power locks. The optional CD/MP3 audio system now includes an auxiliary jack for portable audio devices. The Red Line gets standard ebony leather seats with suede inserts, a power driver seat, unique instrumentation and ambient footwell lighting in both warm amber and cool blue.

• Strong V6, roomy cabin, comfortable ride, excellent crash test scores, good fuel economy.

• Below-average build quality, some low-grade interior plastics, undersized front seats, vague steering.

  I will never go back to a car again - 2006 Saturn VUE

  Back in July I was looking for a new car. But instead I went with an SUV. I have never experienced the service that I received from this Saturn dealership. Very professional and kind. No pressure what so ever. I love the SUV. I love the style and comfort. I love the gas mileage. I get almost 300 mile for a full tank of gas.

  I originally test drove cars then started with the small SUV. I drove Ford Escape, Chevy Equinox and Jeep Liberty. As soon as I drove the VUE I looked no further. The ride was the smoothest, I loved the interior and it will pass a car without any problem ( I have the v6). Love the built in cargo carrier on back as well as the radio controls on steering wheel. This SUV is 10 out of 10!

  I am profoundly pleased and surprised at how wonderful this vehicle is to drive and own. This is definitely worth a look and drive if you want a great SUV.

  Thoughtfully Designed Interior - 2006 Saturn VUE

  This is the most thoughtfully designed car Ive ever driven. Every nook & cranny makes sense to me, such as door pockets that hold a magazine or letter- size file folder, & console pockets that are perfect for a couple of CDs. A 9V outlet hidden deep inside the center stack lets you plug in your cell phone, then the phone cord snakes up through a hole in the bottom of the removable cup holder. Best of all for me this winter are the optional heated seats and fast compartment heater, making my frigid a.m. drive to work a joy. My VUEs ladylike 4-cyl engine is responsive enough, is not a gas hog & is fun to drive!

  I recently purchased a Saturn VUE. I find that it performs very well. I think that the electric power steering is fairly responsive. In truth, there are only a few things that I dont like about the VUE. It doesnt provide a very quiet ride. The door locks are in a position to where they hurt my elbows if I lay my arm out the window. The window switches are somewhat awkward to get used to. Everything else I pretty much love.

  Buy the V6. I get 24 mpg overall and 28mpg on the highway. This is one of the fastest SUVs I have ever driven. The 250hp is incredible.

  My first Saturn was a 1994 SL1 wich I still have with 302,000 miles and have never had a major repair and run like new. Ive had 4 Saturns all together. The VUE is the best car I have ever owned. My wife drives 135 miles a day to work and is a rather fast driver. (80+mph) The ride is unbeleivably comfortable, averages 32mpg. handles great, a little wind noisy, good looking vehicle, great in snow front wheel drive feels like 4wd. Lots of room. Great power with the manual trans. Plan on getting 300k plus miles out of it. We love it

  2nd Orange VUE - 2006 Saturn VUE

  The VUE has some great pick up and go thanks to a 250hp engine mated with a 5 spd auto. Gas milage varies ofcourse with how you drive, but generally not to bad. Descent front and rear leg room. Cargo capacity is descent and with the second row down seems almost endless. I enjoy the new face and jeweled headlamps, that shine bright on a dark night. The new power drivers seat with lumbar is nice and the heated seats feel great, but the higher setting gets pretty warm. I did have the element in one seat replaced within one year of having the VUE. The VUE has an awesome turning radious and a great ride height. No complaints with the steering as some people whine about. Fun to drive, try it.

  My Cypress Saturn - 2006 Saturn VUE

  This is my second VUE. It is more than I expected in a mid-sized SUV. It is easy to get in and out of. Very roomy, lots of cargo space. I and my husband thoroughly enjoy driving this vehicle and plan to keep it for a number of years unless Saturn improves on this model substantially. Saturn has a quality, classic vehicle and their customer service is to be envied by other auto makers and dealerships. Ask any Saturn owner!
