Overview & Reviews
The Nissan Murano was one of the first midsize crossovers introduced in the United States and quickly became a popular alternative to more traditional SUVs thanks to its taut, carlike driving character and avant-garde styling. Later Nissan Muranos are notable for their higher-quality interiors, updated technology features and higher fuel economy ratings.
New or used, the Murano is definitely worth a look if you're on the hunt for a midsize crossover with seating for five. In reviews, our editors have generally praised this Nissan's sophisticated appearance, stylish and comfortable interior and strong acceleration. Middling cargo capacity and poor rearward visibility are our main complaints about the Nissan Murano. You'll find competing models that are better on one or both of these counts, but most won't match the Murano's combination of performance and style.

New Murano --- - 2003 Nissan Murano
By Ted Fox - September 20 - 2:00 amInspite of Nissans need to take marketing lessons from Kia, I purchased this Murano for its uniqueness of styling in the market. Quality and features seems fantastic to this point. Room GALORE! 5 people in total comfort. No complaints to date. Only frustration was lack of info from Nissan. I had no idea what colors/features were available...and dealers were getting shipments! Brochures not yet out. Thank God for Edmunds!

Great Ride - 2010 Nissan Murano
By Virginia DiMaria - September 17 - 2:50 pmI have had my Murano for months now and do a lot of road trips. Most road trips are about a thousand miles. I could not be happpier. This vehicle is a very smooth, comfortable and good car for my long road trips. My last 3 cars were Lexus 350s. I was a little reluctant changing to Nissan, but heard a lot about how great they were and decided to check it out. It has surpassed the Lexus in comfort, style, wheel turn, gas mileage and other features. All the family members in my family are tall and the leg room511 to 64" is just perfect. I read some reviews about car seat comfort. So all you tall people should take notice. I love the car and would lease another.

Murano Fan 4 Ever - 2003 Nissan Murano
By Frankie Dee - September 15 - 2:00 amI have not been this excited about a vehicle since I first saw the 1986 1/2 Toyota Supra. This is the perfect blend of SUV and Sudan. It has a unique look which is rare now a days. The ride in the city and on the highway is fun and non-labor intensive. The engine and transmission are a powerful combination, yet they remain smooth and refined. This vehicle will make a SUV lover out of non-believers.

Murano: Power, style and so much fun! - 2003 Nissan Murano
By LA Lady - September 15 - 2:00 amThe Murano is so much fun to drive. The CVT really allows the car to fly up hills. Mine is loaded and am having fun figuring out all the bells and whistles.I especially like the positive feedback from other drivers. The design is so unique. Not like every other little boxy SUV. Nissan certainly has a winner with the Murano.

2004 SL AWD - 2004 Nissan Murano
By CK - September 12 - 12:03 amVery comfortable cabin. Seats are very comfortable. Auto climate control is one of the best I have used. Dashboard has a couple of rattles, but no other quality issues have come up. Has great midrange power...accelerating from 40 to 60, etc. Off the line acceleration is fine, but average. This car has great ability to haul passengers and cargo. It is very versatile and just plain comfortable. I originally wanted a Dodge Magnum with the big motor. Although I still wish I had the big motor, this car does too many things "right" for me to look back now. I am very happy with my selection. Also looked at the Saturn VUE, but it is really not in the same league as the Murano.
