Overview & Reviews
The Nissan Murano was one of the first midsize crossovers introduced in the United States and quickly became a popular alternative to more traditional SUVs thanks to its taut, carlike driving character and avant-garde styling. Later Nissan Muranos are notable for their higher-quality interiors, updated technology features and higher fuel economy ratings.
New or used, the Murano is definitely worth a look if you're on the hunt for a midsize crossover with seating for five. In reviews, our editors have generally praised this Nissan's sophisticated appearance, stylish and comfortable interior and strong acceleration. Middling cargo capacity and poor rearward visibility are our main complaints about the Nissan Murano. You'll find competing models that are better on one or both of these counts, but most won't match the Murano's combination of performance and style.

What a car! - 2003 Nissan Murano
By Walls - March 8 - 2:00 amIf you like this car in pictures, you need to see it and drive it in person!!! THe pictures do it no justice. The ride is really very nice, the quality, while not a Lexus, better than I thought. The styling is, well I dont need to tell you. I have had mine for a few weeks now, and the gas mileage is very good for an SUV. I love it more and more every day!

Who needs an Infiniti!!! - 2009 Nissan Murano
By carnut - March 7 - 9:33 amThis 09 Murano has all the creature comforts of the Infiniti EX35 at a fraction of the price. We love the redesigned interior and exteriors. They did their homework on this one!

Good car - 2003 Nissan Murano
By vivi - March 2 - 10:00 amI have bought this car on a moments decision because I liked the styling when Ive first saw it on the street. Then I test drove it and I really enjoyed the transmission. I previously had only 5 spd manual cars and I never thought of buying an automatic. But this transmission is better even than a manual. I have now 2000km on it and loved every minute driving it.

Luvin the Murano - 2003 Nissan Murano
By OGzMurano - March 2 - 10:00 amI was not a big fan of SUVs until I test drove the Murano. I still dont consider this an SUV because it feels to sporty and car-like. :) One of the biggest sellers, for the wife and I, was the rear passenger room, the 3.5L engine and the smoooooth CVT (trans). One word describes this vehicle: AWESOME!!!!

Not Dissapointed - 2009 Nissan Murano
By Primadonna - February 28 - 11:10 pmI have wanted a Murano ever since I it came out in 2003. I was just a college student with dreams of owning this car. On Halloween, I finally decided to lease a 2009 Sl with 360 value package; glacier pearl/beige. I love it. The ride is smooth, the seats are comfortable, the stereo is rich, and it looks great. I cant wait to get an ipod and try out the intergration kit.

Murano Gotta Love It - 2003 Nissan Murano
By Poppajosh23 - February 24 - 10:00 amThe Murano was the car I wanted. I am careful to call it a "car", because the SUV Car Crossover is a bit to difficult to refer to in casual conversation. The car is all I dreamed it would be, my family and I enjoy it immensely.

2006 nissan murano - 2006 Nissan Murano
By veronica omalley - February 23 - 10:33 pmMake sure you have the car checked out before making a commitment in buying the vehicle. These cars are traded in from someone else, then is not fully checked out by the person selling the vehicle. Too high priced for one thing, and also the mileage on this 2006 Nissan murano is too high for the cost of buying the car. It is a nice looking car inside and out but had a brake problem squelching when stopping which the seller was willing to fix if buying the Murano. Not good gas mileage according to the rating on the web. Only 20 in city and 25 highway if that. The vehicle is too heavy and is the reason for the low mileage. It was fully loaded and that was the reason for the price of 8,995.00 which I thought was too high in price. Still checking other vehicles out to make sure I want this car or not. What is your opinion on what I quoted.?

Like it but not keeping it.. - 2003 Nissan Murano
By Lucy - February 23 - 2:00 pmSince the day I drove off the dealer lot I have had a constant problem with the windows making a snapping-like sound regardless if the windows are up or down. I took it back in about a week after I leased it, told the service shop about the problem with the window noise and they said they didnt hear it. I mention this all the time I take it in for its maintenance schedule and no one seems to be able to "duplicate" the noise. Other people have heard it when they ride with me but Im sorry, the Nissan service shops are either avoiding the problem or are deaf. I expected this SUV to be somewhat quality-built, but with the window problem Im not impressed with Nissan.

A great car for the BUCK! - 2006 Nissan Murano
By ikalinin - February 21 - 10:20 amWhat can I say, before buying the Murano, Ive test driven the RX 350, FX35 and the Pilot. Ive got about 11k miles on it already, and so far, so good! I get about 19-21 mpg mostly city driving, and it handles great. The 3.5 award winning engine is great and easy maint.
