Overview & Reviews
The Nissan Murano was one of the first midsize crossovers introduced in the United States and quickly became a popular alternative to more traditional SUVs thanks to its taut, carlike driving character and avant-garde styling. Later Nissan Muranos are notable for their higher-quality interiors, updated technology features and higher fuel economy ratings.
New or used, the Murano is definitely worth a look if you're on the hunt for a midsize crossover with seating for five. In reviews, our editors have generally praised this Nissan's sophisticated appearance, stylish and comfortable interior and strong acceleration. Middling cargo capacity and poor rearward visibility are our main complaints about the Nissan Murano. You'll find competing models that are better on one or both of these counts, but most won't match the Murano's combination of performance and style.

Denise - 2003 Nissan Murano
By Neesie - August 31 - 2:00 amI love my Missan Murano. This is my first SUV and I am so glad that I bought the Murano. The first week or so that I had it, I could not go anywhere without someone asking me about it. It handles like a car and is so much fun to drive. It is very comfortable to drive and handles very well.

One fantastic vehicle to own & drive. - 2005 Nissan Murano
By Mike - August 24 - 5:56 pmSince buying my Murano in February 2005, I know I made the right choice. So far, I love everything about it. The CVT transmission is very smooth. It took me some time to get used to the orange/yellow dash lights. For a crossover I think its one of the best on the road. Fun to drive and very peppy engine.

Murano - 2003 Nissan Murano
By mark Barcello - August 14 - 10:00 amThe interior is quiet and well designed. The Bose audio system sounds great. If you are on the road putting 200+ miles a day under your belt this the confotable SUV for you. This is one of the best SUVs ever, my sister and brother own them as well, and we all love the Murano.

handles great, little annoyances - 2003 Nissan Murano
By heisman - August 14 - 10:00 amDrives wonderfully but there are a few annoyances: a rattle in the backseat somewhere that the dealership is having a hard time pinpointing--have had to take it 4 times and its still not fixed; headlights look like they stairstep up to the right, as if they were stalled unevenly, but the dealership says they are all like that?; also, brakes squeal when putting the car into reverse, and again, the dealership claimed to have fixed the problem by cleaning off "the glaze" but the problem has not gone away.

Awesome - 2003 Nissan Murano
By zkkkk - August 14 - 10:00 amNot only does this machine perform,it is a looker. I cant drive 2 blocks w/out being stopped and talked to about my Murano. It is comfortable, smooth, fast, and responsive. Great gas mileage as well. Did I say roomy. Plenty of room front and back. The back seats recline giving more comfort and,as my girlfriend and I found out, plenty of room for plenty of positions. FUN!
