Overview & Reviews
The Nissan Murano was one of the first midsize crossovers introduced in the United States and quickly became a popular alternative to more traditional SUVs thanks to its taut, carlike driving character and avant-garde styling. Later Nissan Muranos are notable for their higher-quality interiors, updated technology features and higher fuel economy ratings.
New or used, the Murano is definitely worth a look if you're on the hunt for a midsize crossover with seating for five. In reviews, our editors have generally praised this Nissan's sophisticated appearance, stylish and comfortable interior and strong acceleration. Middling cargo capacity and poor rearward visibility are our main complaints about the Nissan Murano. You'll find competing models that are better on one or both of these counts, but most won't match the Murano's combination of performance and style.

Trailblazer to Murano - 2007 Nissan Murano
By JLH - October 19 - 5:40 amJust traded 03 Trailblazer getting 14/18 mpg for the 07 Murano. Getting 18.3/23 mpg. Very happy with the mileage. Drove it in the snow this week and didnt miss the 4wd. The Murano feels very "planted" in the snow for only being Fwd. I do wish the headlights were brighter on Hi- beam considering how good they are on low.

I love this car! - 2003 Nissan Murano
By tom bottom - October 18 - 1:40 pmReliable, great in bad conditions, and just fun to drive. Bose system with controls on the wheel are a plus. Extra features...with rear folding seats activated from the back are a plus. Retracting rear seats are roomy even with a full cargo load.

AWESOME MURANO - 2009 Nissan Murano
By Frank Duve - October 9 - 4:20 pmIve had this crossover about 4 months, & I love driving it. Its my first Nissan. This baby will move. I get good performance with regular, but even better with premium. The back-up camera, xm radio, auto rear lift-gate, leather seats, HID lights, driving position, & did I mention build-quality certainly makes this a luxury crossover. I bought it primarily for its unique style, & black on black color.

2004 Nissan Murano Review - 2004 Nissan Murano
By M W Ppool - October 9 - 10:00 amAfter looking at Lexus and BMW (crossover SUVs and sedans) to replace my old SUV, I became intrigued by the new Nissan Maxima. I was close to buying one when I mentioned to the salesperson that I was still debating going with an SUV, but really wanted more comfort and power. They steered me to the Murano and I have been in love ever since. The styling, interior design and comfort are exceptional, while the handling and acceleration make driving a pleasure. Even my two college age sons (one has a 4WD Ford F150 and the other a Honda Accord coupe) are very much enamored of my new Murano and are constantly "borrowing" it.

So Far, So Good! - 2007 Nissan Murano
By Jodie - October 5 - 1:16 amI bought the Nissan Murano after a whole lot of debating and reviewing other vehicles. It came down to either the Murano or the Infiniti FX35. I ultimately chose the Murano, not only because of the cost factor, but because of the better fuel economy, plus its just a fun car to drive and looks great. So far I love it. I was used to driving a Camry for the past 11 years, so Im trying to get used to the difference in fuel economy. I have never owned an SUV, but other than the fuel factor, it is a wonderful car!

Integrity Of 2005 Nissan Murano is JUNK!!! - 2005 Nissan Murano
By mj312 - September 29 - 7:55 amI bought our 2005 Murano new July 2005 and have had nothing but problems. The drivers visor drop into your face, the driver’s seat is twisted when it goes up or down, the phone charger in the dash has been repaired 4 times to recall and still falls out of the dash, upholstery on the inside of the driver’s seat at the site of stitching split and has continued to tear and pull away from the fabric leaving a tear in my leather seat! The interior integrity of the vehicle is very BAD! We have replaced 2 alternators and two batteries between 11/2/2012 and 7/9/2013.

my 04 murano - 2006 Nissan Murano
By paul la roche - September 28 - 10:10 pmIn purchasing this vehicle I was always impress by its looks, after 7 months of driving experience, the roomyness, the cvt tranmission, the sound of the howling engine, and head turning effect. I will say that Im very pleased. thanks for making a vehicle that seats a 275 lb man just perfect.

Loving It !!!!!!!!!!! - 2003 Nissan Murano
By CDTILL - September 25 - 2:00 amThe commercials do not do this vehicle justice. I was skeptical at first, but after the test drive I bought it that same day. The exterior is exotic looking and the interior is spacious (I am 61")and fun. I was looking into the volvo XC90, but decided this was the better choice. It is FUN to drive!!!!
