Excellent Vehicle and Great Price Too - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Stephen Esslinger - October 20 - 11:16 amOur new Murano is just an all around great vehicle. This vehicle was purchased for my wife. She drives approximately sixty miles a day and we live in the country. She sometimes has to work late hours and is on the expressway late at night, both winter and summer. From what I have observed so far, this vehicle gets far better mileage than her 2003 Santa Fe which we traded in. This car is loaded, rides great, is fun to drive and I think has all safety features available in a vehicle. We purchased chrome wheels, (extra) but they really set the looks of this vehicle off. For the money, this vehicle beats Lexus hands down. For the money, our Santa Fe was good but this Murano is great!! We love it.

my 04 murano - 2006 Nissan Murano
By paul la roche - September 28 - 10:10 pmIn purchasing this vehicle I was always impress by its looks, after 7 months of driving experience, the roomyness, the cvt tranmission, the sound of the howling engine, and head turning effect. I will say that Im very pleased. thanks for making a vehicle that seats a 275 lb man just perfect.

Awesome!!! - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Kevin - September 10 - 1:50 pmMy 2006 Murano SE AWD drives more like a sportscar than an SUV! The power is exceptional and the handling is exhilarating! The CVT transmission is as smooth as silk, so watch your speed in this Sport Utility Rocket. Whether we take it camping or for a night on the town, it catches everyones attention. Definitely not the choice for you if you dont want to be noticed! I loved my Maxima but the Murano is even better.

Cant believe I waited this long - 2006 Nissan Murano
By BaconRx7 - August 11 - 4:06 amI worked for Nissan from 03-05, and during that time owned a 04 Maxima SE with all the bells and whistles. Drove the Murano back then and fell in love, just had to wait till my lease was up, boy am I happy. Picked up a SL AWD, with touring package, all I can say is WOW. Im a huge fan of the styling, amazed with the color display and reverse camera (didnt know it had it till I picked it up). The ride is great; gas mileage so far is nearly identical to my maxima. And the Lumbar is so much better then the maxima. Im still in the industry, working for a Cadillac dealer, so I get the chance to see and drive a lot of vehicles. Muranos the best!!

Surpassed my expectations - 2006 Nissan Murano
By gag - December 7 - 4:26 pmIt was my dream car, and it really has been a great experience. Its fun to drive. I got the SE model at the end (was planning on SL) and love it. Though more common nowadays, it still makes people gawk. Very spacious, and the power delivered when you push the pedal is amazing, with no transmission jerking.

The most car fun Ive had in years - 2006 Nissan Murano
By dml - October 13 - 11:13 pmNot since my first Maxima years ago have I experienced so much pleasure in driving a vehcile. There is nothing about the Murano that I dont like - its comfortable, well-appointed and well-designed, and an absolute delight to drive. The CVT is addictive - once you get used to it, youll never want to go back. I actually dont mind my hour commute each day to and from work, now. Always a Nissan fan, but now Im reminded why!

My "DREAM" SUV... - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Penny Heiser - July 24 - 12:00 pmThis new automatic transmission is the best on a long trip...Went from S.F to Las Vegas...breezed through without getting that "tired of driving" feeling. Actually got there before we knew it...doesnt tire you out...fun to drive and a beauty to behold...I love this SUV...Ive got that new charchol color with the cabernet leather interior...WOW, do I get the looks!!! Everyone wants to look at the inside too!! It makes me happy to get into it after a hard day at work, the color is so bright and cheerful!!!.....The mileage could be better...19 mpg but it is worth it!!! A positive 10!!!
