Overview & Reviews
For 2005, the Murano receives a rollover sensor for the side curtain airbags, and a new S model with fewer features and a lower price. New options packages and an Intelligent Key entry and ignition system are newly available.
- Sharp handling, strong standard engine, comfortable and practical interior.
- Continuously variable transmission detracts from performance, SE model rides harshly, no third-row seat.

Its a great car! - 2005 Nissan Murano
By W. Schaefer - August 14 - 1:10 pmWe just got home from a 3200 mile vacation trip. 23.4 MPG average. Any comparable vehicle is $10,000 more and burns more fuel, usually premium gas. We use regular all the time. Its fun to drive, looks great, and Im getting lots of favorable comments and questions.

2005 Murano - 2005 Nissan Murano
By Race Fan - July 11 - 10:20 pmWe traded my 2003 350Z for the Murano when my husband had a serious heart attack in July of 2004. I wasnt sure I would be happy with this car because I have always driven sports cars. However, this has proven to be a wonderful car in town and on the road. We took our first trip from Atlanta to Cedar Key,FL. in March and it was a delight. I love all the space in the car which made packing so simple compared to a trunk.. I didnt want a big SUV that seems some women drivers have a problem driving but this size is perfect. I guess you can tell I REALLY like this Murano.

Nissan Murano - 2005 Nissan Murano
By Susan Arbogast - April 5 - 6:13 pmI am not a "car" person, but I love my Murano. It is comfortable, roomy, I am able to haul things in it. I really love it. Gas mileage is ok, though I dont get the mileage the sticker said I would. Overall, I am extremely happy with this car, and its very good looking too.

Very Nice Mini SUV - 2005 Nissan Murano
By Neil Lundell - January 28 - 10:43 pmI am extremely happy with the puchase of my new Murano. The car looks great, drives powerfully and smothly and has a very comfortable interior. Rear storage space is important for me and the Murano delivers (although no where near what it repaced: an 88 Saab 900). Without a doubt, the exterior look is what seduced me- I noticed them on the road for months before my purchase. For me, the look is magic. Five cars ago I drove a Nisson 280 ZX- a fantastic automobile- Nissan simply makes great cars.

Murano Surpases Expectations - 2005 Nissan Murano
By LessSleep - January 18 - 8:30 amIve been a Ford man all my life, Dad owned a Ford Dealership and my wife works for Ford now. Decided to stray from the path and do not ever plan to go back. The Murano is such a step ahead of the Fords I have been driving. Mileage by far exceeds my previous models and the Power is extremely fun to drive. I tested a Mustang Gt before I bought this Murano, and the smile on my face was the same. The one add-on I would suggest is the K&N air filter. It increases my gas mileage and the Horsepower. I find myself going for drives on my noon hours, just to enjoy the car and get away from work. Its probably a sick thing to be in Love with your car this much. It wont fit on her side of the bed.

GREAT SUV - 2005 Nissan Murano
By Bobito the Elf - December 25 - 12:00 amIve been driving my Nissan Murano for a while now and Im just loving it. Its sporty and quiet and smothers bumps great all at the same time. I cant believe that people will spend thousands of dollars more for a Lexus. Ive had no major problems with at all(At least I would hope not, considering the amount of miles I have on it).

Not your typical SUV - 2005 Nissan Murano
By Andrew - December 10 - 8:50 amThis is a fun car to drive. Bigger than it actually looks with plenty of cargo space. Its a nice change after driving a true V8 SUV for many years. Feels like driving a luxury car more than on SUV.

Murano - 2005 Nissan Murano
By Sue - December 2 - 5:16 amJust picked up my 2005 Murano the other day. I enjoy it! I have wanted one since they first came out in 2003. Very stylish, easy to drive, and comfortable. Only thing missing is a heated steering wheel (had one in my 2002 Maxima and just loved it) so now I will have to buy a pair of gloves for our Ohio winters. My husband and kids enjoy driving it also...I think there might be a fight to be the driver!
