Overview & Reviews
SE models now include a manual-shift mode for the CVT, and satellite radio pre-wiring is standard on all models. The standard driver seat now features 10-way power adjustment.
- Excellent handling, comfortable and practical interior, unique styling inside and out, smooth and powerful engine.
- Continuously variable transmission detracts from performance, SE model rides harshly, no third-row seat, gets pricey with options.

best car ever - 2004 Nissan Murano
By jenni0815 - August 14 - 10:00 amThis car is my favorite car. I have had Volvos, Acuras, Accords, Camrys, and the dreaded Jeep Cherokee (what was i thinking), but this car tops all, even the Volvos. Although my love for Volvo still runs deep, this car is a lot more fun to drive!

Lovn It! - 2004 Nissan Murano
By CBin - August 9 - 10:00 amIve only had my Murano for 8 days but I am LOVN IT! I finally had to donate my 1987 Nissan Pulsar to Goodwill. Having that for 17 years and getting 217,000+ miles out of it convinced me to get another Nissan. Im spoiled already! Family, friends and co-workers love it also. Co-worker has a Durango which was priced the same as the Murano. She says I got a much better deal; I have more options/gadgets on mine than hers. Another friend has the Bose system in her Mazda RX-8. Hers does not sound nearly as good as mine!

By ItsAlberta - July 3 - 10:00 amI have been driving the Murano for 3 1/2 months. I love it. It is spacious, luxurious, comfortable, versatile, with great handling. I have never enjoyed a vehicle as much as this. I would recommend this suv to anyone.

Most fun Ive had driving - 2004 Nissan Murano
By lovecars - July 3 - 10:00 amWe looked at 4 different vehicles, the Honda Pilot, Buick Rendezvous, Toyota Highlander, and Chrysler Pacifica before falling in love with the Nissan Murano. It had everything we wanted, including a ton of options for a great price. What I love most is how many people stare. Often, there are people checking out the Murano when Im leaving the store and asking me what it is.

Love It - 2004 Nissan Murano
By cstrother - July 3 - 10:00 amGot 2004 Murano SL AWL loaded on Memorial Day. Love it. My choice came down to Murano and Acura TL. TL interior seemed slightly more refined and is quick. No regrets. Murano drives like it is on rails esp in rain. Good power. CVT--very smooth, no lag to me. Mileage seems decent. I never expected to get an SUV, but why get a car as small as the RX8 or even Inf G35, when Murano has better gas mileage. Ride is great to me--firm and satisfying. No need to go to SE. Interior noise seems low. I have had no trouble with visibility or power steering.

Good car - 2004 Nissan Murano
By Boater Buddy - July 3 - 10:00 amThis Murano is one of 3 cars I have now- - a Solara convertible, a Lexus ES 300 and the Murano. It is the favorite of both my wife and me. I traded a Chrysler Town and Country for it and have no interest in going back. The mini van, with less than 30000 miles on it, spent too much time in the shop. It is a really feel good vehicle

Best Suv/Car Value - 2004 Nissan Murano
By JIM2006 - May 15 - 10:00 amPound per pound , this is the best SUV value. Nothing comes close. I test drove Highlander , Pilot 4Runner, and Touareg. They are all bland , heavy and unexciting. Got the spirited SE over the SL for the 6 speed CVT for better control and acceleration. Always a smile whenever I drive this vehicle. Betters my 5 Series BMW in driving. Nissan underpriced this vehicle. I am getting a second one for my wife.
