Overview & Reviews
Not satisfied with the current crop of crossover SUVs? Nissan rolls out the newest car-based SUV, the Murano. It boasts a powerful V6 engine and distinctive styling.
- Very good use of interior space, unique styling inside and out, smooth and powerful engine.
- No third-row seating, SE model rides harshly, gets pricey with options.

Very Impressive - 2003 Nissan Murano
By physcodiver - January 7 - 2:00 amI traded in my Pathfinder for a Murano. I have 400 miles and counting, great vehicle. In the Blizzard of 03, it handled very good, but, the pathfinder was better in that type of weather. gas mileage running about 19.5 so far on engine breakin.

Have it for 2 weeks - 2003 Nissan Murano
By SCasselRx - January 7 - 2:00 amLooks are distinctive and aerodynamic. Good power, very smooth engine. Feels stable around town. Very easy to get in and out of. Sound system is great. Lots of room for all 5 passengers. Preferred this over Pilot, Highlander, even the Rx300 (2K less). Only 1 complaint-Had to carry a big piece of plywood and there is no way to attach bungy to back door.

Bobs Murano review - 2003 Nissan Murano
By phillylion - January 1 - 10:00 amExcellent vehicle. Drives very car- like with great handling and performance. The features include things that most other similar vehicles dont offer such as stability and traction control. The gas mileage seems better than most SUVs with around 20 combined highway/city. No problems, noises, or rattles, as some have reported.

Love this SUV!!! - 2003 Nissan Murano
By Bernard - November 14 - 10:00 amMy traded her Infiniti I-30 for this SUV. She and I both love it. It is fun to drive, has plenty of power, and the AWD was a big selling feature. Since we live in the mountains, the AWD for winter weather and the SE suspension system were a must.
