This Year's Model Updates:

Not satisfied with the current crop of crossover SUVs? Nissan rolls out the newest car-based SUV, the Murano. It boasts a powerful V6 engine and distinctive styling.

Pros:
  • Very good use of interior space, unique styling inside and out, smooth and powerful engine.
Cons:
  • No third-row seating, SE model rides harshly, gets pricey with options.

Like the Rock... powerful engine.. wonderful transmission... and the most and stiff Steering wheel that give you the feeling of the sports cars, beleive me the stiff steering wheel is much more better than the light one much more better to handle.

Enjoy the fresh styling from Nissan. The car is comfortable and enjoyable to drive. The navigation system is excellent once you learn how to operate it.

  • What a car! - 2003 Nissan Murano

If you like this car in pictures, you need to see it and drive it in person!!! THe pictures do it no justice. The ride is really very nice, the quality, while not a Lexus, better than I thought. The styling is, well I dont need to tell you. I have had mine for a few weeks now, and the gas mileage is very good for an SUV. I love it more and more every day!

I have bought this car on a moments decision because I liked the styling when Ive first saw it on the street. Then I test drove it and I really enjoyed the transmission. I previously had only 5 spd manual cars and I never thought of buying an automatic. But this transmission is better even than a manual. I have now 2000km on it and loved every minute driving it.

I was not a big fan of SUVs until I test drove the Murano. I still dont consider this an SUV because it feels to sporty and car-like. :) One of the biggest sellers, for the wife and I, was the rear passenger room, the 3.5L engine and the smoooooth CVT (trans). One word describes this vehicle: AWESOME!!!!

  • Murano Gotta Love It - 2003 Nissan Murano

The Murano was the car I wanted. I am careful to call it a "car", because the SUV Car Crossover is a bit to difficult to refer to in casual conversation. The car is all I dreamed it would be, my family and I enjoy it immensely.

I have loved this SUV. I have owned the Quest van previously and also had good experiences with these cars. My vehicle has 80000 miles and has recently had the transmission replaced. Also had the gas cap issue.

The vehicle is amazing. The transmission has no gears (regardless Camiles review saying it changes gears smoothly)so it always picks the best ratio. Climbing a hill, passing, or cruising. These new 3.5 engines are the best ever built. All aluminum, 100,000 mile EVERYTHING except fluids. They use the 3.5 in all their vehicles now, and tune them accordingly. Thats why the 350Z has over 280HP. The Muranos engine can make the same power, they just detune it. Which means its running in a mild state of tune which means its not stressed which means it will run forever.

This has been a excellent vehicle, no problems at all, and we now have over 40K miles on it. May lease another one.

The best of all the cars/SUVs I have owned and driven.
