Murano - 2006 Nissan Murano
By dog - January 12 - 11:40 amI just purchased an 06 Murano, I traded in an 03 Suburban, on my way to get the new vehicle, the Suburban averaged 9 MPG, the Murano averaged 24.4 MPG for the trip home driving 70 MPH, the gas savings alone will make half the payment. Thank you, Nissan..

Saved my life - 2006 Nissan Murano
By KP-C - December 2 - 11:13 pmI was recently involved in a major auto accident (thankfully not my fault). I was hit head on, then rolled 3-4 times travelling across all 3 lanes & the hard shoulder, only when my car nose dived into a grass verge did it come to a rest on my (drivers) side. All safety features that this car has as standard did their job. I was pulled from the wreckage with a couple of broken ribs & a lot of bruising on my torso. As each & every emergency service member said, the car saved my life. They couldnt believe what the car went through & yet I got out relatively unharmed. My next car? Another Murano! We were sold on the car from the safety features alone when we bought it, plus the CVT - awesome :

JAN NEEDS HER MURANO - 2006 Nissan Murano
By JAN MUTZL - July 17 - 11:43 amI leased this vehicle for 5 weeks and it was the very best out of at least 18 different vehicles I had driven in that time period, The best stability around corners and the most practical I have seen. By the way I have owned 5 Nissan vehicles, loved every one. I would now like to lease the murano with the intention of buying. Jan C. MUTZL

I like it - 2006 Nissan Murano
By dcbruin - April 27 - 7:33 amBeen very happy with my Nissan. Im a bigger guy and this cabin is very roomy. Lots of leg and head room for the front and the back which I found hard to find in SUVs. The fit and finish of the car is good. Gas mileage is better than my old Montero. I average about 18 to 19 miles in predominant city driving. On the highway it does great. The AWD is very nice in the midwest and provides a nice tight drive. The CVT is awkward. Im still getting use to the deceleration. The car is very responsive in acceleration and thats nice. There is a strange hiccup when slowing down. You must also learn to feather the gas in the snow/slush

Glad I got it! - 2006 Nissan Murano
By Shane - April 12 - 2:26 amI just bought my Murano used a month ago from a private party. It only had 8,100 miles on it (2006). I looked for a year and got a great price for an SL in perfect condition. I love driving this car. Its zippy, and fun. The Bose stereo system sounds great for most, if youre really into your music you might be a little disappointed. The suspension is a little soft on the SL model if you really like to put the car through the turns. But overall Im very happy with the car!! I love the interior and exterior lines.

The Z of suvs - 2006 Nissan Murano
By TM - March 24 - 1:26 amJust bought this after driving a 97 Maxima for 11 years. The Maxima was the best car Id ever owned. The Murano seems like it may be just as good. Solid feel, great road view, excellent quality interior materials, great VQ engine power and unbelievable handling. Nissan calls it the Smooth- UV. I agree.
