Overview & Reviews
The Nissan Murano was one of the first midsize crossovers introduced in the United States and quickly became a popular alternative to more traditional SUVs thanks to its taut, carlike driving character and avant-garde styling. Later Nissan Muranos are notable for their higher-quality interiors, updated technology features and higher fuel economy ratings.
New or used, the Murano is definitely worth a look if you're on the hunt for a midsize crossover with seating for five. In reviews, our editors have generally praised this Nissan's sophisticated appearance, stylish and comfortable interior and strong acceleration. Middling cargo capacity and poor rearward visibility are our main complaints about the Nissan Murano. You'll find competing models that are better on one or both of these counts, but most won't match the Murano's combination of performance and style.

Murano in the ville - 2006 Nissan Murano
By pelf - January 31 - 10:00 amId been holding off on purchasing the Murano until it mutated into a ride that I couldnt live without. The 06 model has definitely become that. It handles great and has such a quick response that it makes me feel like a kid again when Im out driving around. The fun factor is off the charts!

Kinda Worried - 2003 Nissan Murano
By Kinda Worried - January 29 - 10:00 amI purchased this vehicle less than a month ago and it has been in the shop for the last 5 days. It wouldnt start, and I had to get it towed back to the dealership. Due to it being a new model, the mechanics had to play phone tag with the Nissan engineers to try to figure out what was wrong with it. I was told it was something to do with the fuel injector system, which has about 5 different components. Once they fixed the fuel pressure problem, now the electrical system is tripping up the fuel system. Supposedly fixed now, but I am still kinda worried. Wondering if anyone else is having this same problem.

Great Long Distance Marketing Car - 2005 Nissan Murano
By Road Warrior 1958 - January 20 - 6:50 amBought new have 47,500 miles on it already. Only real complaint is the gas mileage in town is a mere 17 on the highway it gets 22 . Be aware though in the beginning the car gets only 18 miles overall untill the engine is broken in somwhere around 15,000 miles. The comfort and ride and handling are excellent for a suv and is almost car like. Will buy the upgraded version next time cause heated seats and the additional toys are fun. I have had no traction problems with the 2wd version and it is more economical on gas and maintance than AWD.

Didnt go wrong this time! - 2010 Nissan Murano
By Great Ride - January 15 - 10:00 amTraded 2008 GMC Acadia for a 2010 Murano SL. The Acadia was larger and I miss not having the bumper sensors and Onstar, but something has to be said about reliability. We are so pleased with our Murano. Gas mileage is anywhere between 19-26 mpg and this has just been a joy to own and drive. You cant go wrong with a Murano.

7,000 Mile Update - 2010 Nissan Murano
By Idaho Opinion - January 15 - 10:00 amNow that weve put on a few more miles an updated review seems in order. We drove on 2 winding, steep mountain roads in the Hells Canyon area of Idaho, and were so pleased with how little effort it took for the Murano to negotiate those roads. Going down I used low gear or the over-drive button on the side of the shifting lever, so that hardly any braking was needed. Going up I left it in "over-drive off" and the vehicle seemed to just glide around and up those steep corners and hills. With the Muranos ease of steering I could keep one hand on the wheel and one on the shifing lever. This is all coupled with an incredibly smooth ride, so that driving those roads was simply a joy to behold.

Wish they had included memory seats, for this sl model.I have premium pkg, tech pkg, Leather, and dvd Player. I previously drove a Acura Tl 06 . I wonder if they have an after market for memory seats.
