Model Overview:

The Nissan Murano was one of the first midsize crossovers introduced in the United States and quickly became a popular alternative to more traditional SUVs thanks to its taut, carlike driving character and avant-garde styling. Later Nissan Muranos are notable for their higher-quality interiors, updated technology features and higher fuel economy ratings.

New or used, the Murano is definitely worth a look if you're on the hunt for a midsize crossover with seating for five. In reviews, our editors have generally praised this Nissan's sophisticated appearance, stylish and comfortable interior and strong acceleration. Middling cargo capacity and poor rearward visibility are our main complaints about the Nissan Murano. You'll find competing models that are better on one or both of these counts, but most won't match the Murano's combination of performance and style.

    * First of all I got a great deal on it. * This is one of the best vehicle Ive ever driven and it just takes regular gas unlike the Infiniti FX 35. Infiniti bundles a little bit of luxury into it, which I really dont or may not need. * Exterior styling, Interior comfort and its fun to drive. * Best buy for the buck.

  • I love the Murano - 2004 Nissan Murano

The AWD Murano performs well in ice and snow conditions. The unique transmission takes some getting used to but is a joy to drive once you have mastered it. The exterior styling makes people notice you.

Only one month ago, my wife and I just bought the 2009 Murano with full loaded options. We are so impressed with this vehicle. The interior looks no less then any other crossover luxury AWD like Lexus or Infiniti, the exterior looks so rock and handsome, its performances are superior with a smooth traction control. My wife and I, we both are Infiniti lovers, but this time we would rather choose this Murano instead of the Infiniti FX or the new EX just came out this year.

  • Over the top - 2003 Nissan Murano

Now that the Murano is over 1 year old, Im not as thrilled with it as I was initially. The roar of the sunroof makes it unuseable. The air vibrations are extemely uncomfortable. Ive replaced the condensor in the AC already. Overall...like it, dont love it anymore.

  • Sporty and Pretty Too - 2009 Nissan Murano

Drove several crossover/SUVs, including the RAV 4, Ford Edge, Mazda CX7 and CX9. The Murano was the quietest, most smooth riding and best equipped of the bunch. The auto climate control is better than in any of the luxury cars I have owned. I like the spaciousness of the interior. The smoothness and power of the acceleration is really nice. My major complaint is the front seat. It is extremely hard and the front seat cushion does not adjust independently from the seat back. The seat cushion has a very angled upward tilt, to the point of cutting off leg circulation. (I am 54" and this may be the reason) I am hoping with time the seat may soften up a bit. Good price for so many features.

  • Luv it! - 2009 Nissan Murano

Very fun and quick. The CVT trans is great - like a rocket blasting off - no hard shifting - nice and smooth. No bouncing, rattles or anything wrong for me.

  • GREAT SUV! - 2004 Nissan Murano

2004 Murano SE is comfortable and great looking inside and out. Cargo area is very generous and easy to access. Rear seat design is elegant and easy to adjust for comfort and cargo access. Entrance and driver comfort & controls are extensive and well planned. Premium Bose System sounds great. Light color cloth interior is cooler in the summer and very comfortable. Dashboard design is easy & intuitive to learn & use, steering wheel controls convenient.

  • Dream come true! - 2005 Nissan Murano

Id avoided buying into the whole SUV lifestyle...until I met "Murray". What a delight this vechicle has turned out to be! The ride is excellent, the power generous despite the occassional report by others that the CVT drains the V6s power. My husband (a die-hard Ford pickup man) has admitted Murray has even won his heart...especially when he gets the opportunity to leave other folks in the dust with their mouths hanging open in surprise of the Muranos ability to get up and GO when asked. Some catch up just to see what just passed them...besides the smiling driver.

  • Greatest Car - 2005 Nissan Murano

Not only does this car look great it is fun to drive. Plenty of get up and go. Has all the advantages of an SUV without the poor gas milage.

  • Am I driving on a Cloud??? - 2007 Nissan Murano
    By -

Well, after testing the market for a new automobile I chose the Nissan Murano SL. The suspension as well as the transmission is extremely smooth and feels as though were driving on a cloud. The stylish fashion definitely has the "it" as we travel down the road and people break necks to have a look! I chose the glacier white pearl and tinted the two front windows to match the rest of the Murano. This just tops it off on the looks and gives added protection from the hot Texas sun. If you want an automobile that exceeds expectations with an affordable price, look no further. You will not be unhappy with this selection, I guarantee you!
