The Maxima has been fully redesigned for 2004. It now rides on the same underpinnings as the well-received Nissan Altima. This year's Maxima is longer, wider and more powerful than the previous version.

  Then handleing and ride are very good.Road noise is minimal,sound system is one of the best,braking is good Inside and out features are very well done.turning radius could be shorter .comfort is very good.This car comes very well equiped.

  Ride is Great Power plant so far is awesume.handles rela good. Was looking for a Luxury car but always needed to sooth the kid in me with sportier model. Well I got it here. Service has bee exellent. To the Guy up futher if you hold the channel button on steering wheel it will change channels on radio without seeking. So far very Happy. Only draw back is it doesnt have retractable wings so you could really fly

  This car is awesome, the ride is smooth, a very fast car, picks up speed very quickly, I do alot of highway driving so this is good, comfortable ride also, very good choice to buy this car, 1 thing to change would be the display panel for the radio, it fogged up within the 1st month of my purchase and it is on the inside so no way to clean.

  Bought my wife an 04 SL. What a beautiful car! She just loves it. But I must say that after driving my own G35, the Max feels like an American near luxury car. Therefore its perfect for her, but for me the G35 is more to my taste

  I LOVE MY CAR! if only the steering wheel would stop shaking when i hit the brakes at 50-80 MPH. I got a call from my dealership today saying that it is my tires, you know....the ones that are $300.00 each. It has been in the shop about 6-7 times since i bought it with no resolution to the problems. They diagnosed it as my rotors previously now its my tires....well see. Other then that the car is a dream to drive, you get where you want to go REAL quick!

  I love my Maxima. I have had no problems with the breaks. The interior is great. The exterior is great. I have recently test driven some smaller cars and found that the Maxima has spoiled me. The Bose sound system is great and the Maxia hold its value. The tires are expensive and never in stock. That is the only complaint I have.

  Awesone styling, fast (great 3.5 V6), top-notch handling, great stereo, good ergonomics. Overall, a very good value compared to other near-luxury cars on the market today. For the price, the standard features are generous and beat the pants off entry luxury cars like the BMW 330 and Audi A4.

  Depending on road surface and speed, car makes an annoying noise and has done so from the day it was purchased. Dealer states 3% of Maximas have this problem. Engineers cannot figure out what is causing noise and have stopped responding. Four trips to dealer in first 3 months of ownership in attempt to cure problem have failed. After that they stopped contacting me.

  I have owned my max for the past 2-1/2 yrs and I love it. If I had to complain about anything it would be the turning radius of the car is maneuverable but a little hard. I am not crazy about the orange dash board illumination because it seems harder to see in the daylight. Otherwise, i LOVE my Max!
